Mishimoto MMRAD-IS300-01 Performance Aluminum Radiator Fits Lexus IS300 2001-2005

This review is a bit late as I bought this over 5 years ago, but I guess I can comment on the longevity. I got this because the plastic cracked on my OEM one after 200k miles, and I'm glad I bought this one. I scored this for $120 in 2019 and that was one heck of a deal for this thing. This is a fantastic rad. I do some drifting and the car never even thinks about overheating with this rad like it did with the stock one. The welds are quality and the hose connectors are in the right place. It comes with a Mishi radiator cap, which is cool, and is still working. And this fits fine with the stock overflow bottle. FYI about the overflow, if you end up having a crack in it, don't bother replacing it since it's crazy expensive. Just use some 2 part epoxy and it'll last forever. Note on fitment though: I have a manual transmission and because this rad is thicker than the OEM one, I had to eliminate the surpentine belt dampener that Lexus originally equipped the vehicle with. They put this on manual cars to dampen the shock to the belt and other accessories, I guess so the belt doesn't squeel. But I have had no negative repurcussions leaving this item off the car.

Installed this for my 2001 Lexus IS300. Pretty straight forward install. My only gripe is that the bolt holes didn't quite line up for the fan shroud, and I wish these came with a petcock for draining the radiator, instead of just a bolt. Other than those two things, it's been working wonderfully. I paired this radiator with HPS heater hoses. My car had Mishimoto hoses with a stock radiator, but they weren't in the best shape. The car stays cool, no leaks, and apparently there were reports of the hood hitting the radiator, but I've not had that problem at all.

Amazing product looks clean AF some modifications necessary like relocation of the coolant temperature sensor from passenger side to driver side and if you own an auto is300 make sure you get the trans cooler with 3/8ths hoses

Works very well with my 05 Lexus IS300. Needed some minor adjustments to fit the radiator fan but after all said and done, it works and looks quite appealing under the hood.

Fit great on my 02 lexus is300 but need a little trimming to fit the oem fan/shrout

some small details such as the hold down clamp area on top of the rad. was not the correct size they were too small.

This thing is honestly so super sick! And on top of that, it is definitely something you can't go wrong with. Yea it's a bit pricey, but like they say, you get what you pay for most definitely! Thanks guys!

Easy to install, WARNING IF YOU HAVE A AUTO TRANSMISSION YOU WILL NEED A SEPARATE TRANS COOLER!! Oem radiator has trans oil cooling line that go to bottom, this radiator DOES NOT! I would recommend the Hayden 677 for a small easy and great product to install!

Perfect alignment of fans bolts, lower mounting pins, and hose connects. Couldn’t ask for a better fitment.

Looks nice fits well, dislike the look of the cap and I was not able to reuse my old one.

Maybe I just got a faulty one but still it was annoying after replacing my previously leaky radiator. It did work well for the time I had it but I don’t think I would purchase it again.
