Good but super expensive!
I did really like this but I wouldn't buy it at the current price of £5.99. I might have considered it if you got 500g but even then, it would still be expensive. The texture, bite and taste is really good and doesn't seem to suffer from the fragility, clumpiness, or stickiness that often occurs with gluten free pasta.

Fine, but not overwhelming, gluten-free pasta
I live near a number of Ethiopian and Eritrean restaurants so I have tried a lot of food made with teff in the past, and was intrigued to see how pasta made with teff and rice flour would taste.I cooked according to instructions and would immediately say that the pasta takes longer than the suggested six minutes to reach al dente, for me it was nearer ten minutes. As with a number of non-gluten dried pasta, the pasta water becomes quite milky and almost like a light glue whilst the pasta is cooking: be careful that the pot doesn't boil over! The pasta itself is fine: it was surprisingly lacking in flavour and did have the tendency to gloop together in a mound, so it definitely needs to be drained, rinsed and dressed with olive oil. I think a thicker pasta shape would possibly have worked better. It was enjoyable enough and certainly as a gluten-free alternative it wasn't bad, but I have tried better gluten-free alternatives in the past and, given Seggiano's reputation for high-end pasta, it was overall a little underwhelming.

Worth a try, very interesting but expensive
We always like to try new foods and new ingredients when cooking. We’ve had teff before used in fermented dough breads but not had it in pasta. This is an artisan pasta and therefore is more expensive than cheaper brands. The big question is whether it’s worth the extra money.we were very impressed and did enjoy this pasta. The packaging is good, the ingredients and cook instructions and are clear and easy to follow. it is significantly more expensive than some of the big name brands and even their fancier similarly organic product lines. It is organic and gluten-free. if we had a dietary requirement because of gluten intolerance then we would probably consider purchasing this again. As we are not needing gluten-free we can’t see ourselves buying this again unless it was on offer. If you have a gluten-free requirement then we definitely do recommend this product, as you are likely paying premiums on your food items already.Worth a try, very interesting Ingredients in teff but expensive

Fine when covered in sauce
This is a very healthy looking pasta but is a little gloopy when cooked, however carefully you try to get it al dente. It works just fine in a sauce, however.

The product quality is outstanding. Exactly what I needed for my work.
6' cooking time. Bring a pan of water to the boil and add a pinch of salt. Simmer for six minutes, stirring occasionally and checking until it is al dente, just soft enough to bite trhough. Drain and serve immediately. Pasta cooking time is an art rather than an exact science and depends on variables like the volume of water or heat level used. To enjoy gluten free pasta at its best, please do the al dente test to get the cooking time right. Pasta will continue to soften just a little, even after it is drained.
