Component Audio Video Cable for PS2 / PS3, HD Multi Out Composite RCA Audio Video Cable (6 Feet)

This is amazing! I have a PS2 slim and I hooked it up to a new Sony 4K TV with the red blue cables and it was blurry and way too dark. I bought these component cables and everything is clear. The one picture with the guy standing there, my old cables that whole room was completely dark! the floor everything you could not see and you’re supposed to be chasing somebody in there and it was impossible. These new cables lightened up everything and the graphics are so much better and sharper for sure. The cables are a very high-quality and worked perfectly.

I purchased this cable for my PS3 that I moved to another tv. I wasn't able to get it to work with an HDMI connection (like the former tv). So this cable actually worked and worked pretty well. It seems very sturdy like it would last for years to come. However, after owning this for a few months, I noticed that the sound stops working after a few minutes of use. I have done everything I can to adjust settings within the PS3 system to no avail. I'm convinced at this point, that it is the cable. *Update* turns out, my PS3 is having issues. I'm reaching out to Playstation support to figure it out. My review was originally 5 stars. I changed it to 1 star. After going back and forth troubleshooting and testing with the (very kind and patient) seller it seems there is an issue with the sound of my console. I'm reaching out to Sony. Hopefully, this won't get expensive. The video with this cable is unmatched. I hope that after repair of my console, I can enjoy flawless sound again.

Unexpected improvement. As many note, it’s not about resolution (PS2 was no HD console) but quality of image, colors and details. With large LED tvs, the image gets so much washed out if you use the regular cable. With this quality product, you can read and see everything much better. The wires are thick and the product is heavier than the average cable. Plug ‘n play!!!

A lot of people here don't understand that the PS2 outputs different formats through component and you will have severe visual glitches when using it on an HDTV or CRT through component unless you change the output mode of the PS2 to interlaced for a CRT and progressive scan for an HDTV. I've had this cable for over a year and it works just fine and provides a far superior picture quality when compared to composite. Also, make sure that the composite lead does not touch anything if you are using component, and the component leads are not touching anything if you are using composite or you may experience undesired noise.

Love it for my PS3. It gets the job done & does it very well. The price is just another solid benefit too. Would recommend for others as well.

Connected the older PS2 Component to the HDMI adapter and was able to relive my early years of gaming. I will eventually try a CRT and see the difference. Great product. Word to the wise, this does not work on a PS1 console as the signal is not strong enough to send via the adapter.

It was worse than my original ps2 cable. Junk

Bought this to see about replacing the original Sony composite cables for my original PS2. TV didn't have connection for the older RCA/composite cables (Yellow, red, and white) so I originally tried buying a cheap RCA/composite to HDMI converter. Had many an issue with that method with the main one being that the picture quality was very poor and the brightness levels were way off (super dark). Whether that was because of the converter or the Sony video cables, couldn't tell you. But switching to these cables made a huge difference. Picture is super sharp (for a PS2) and more importantly the brightness levels are normal. I did have to switch the settings in the PS2 system configuration menu so that the video output was YPbPr instead of just the yellow (composite) video. To that I needed to connect the PS2 using the composite video included in this cable, so beware of that. Build quality is insane as well. Great product!

Perfect for me at a good price. Note: If the AV-in was used with standard composite video cable before, the Video input option must be changed to ColorStream or Component on most tv set. Otherwise the display won't be proper (Rainbow-like hues and odd colors). Just saying cause I've seen people unaware of this.
