I live in Australia therefore I had to read all the 133 reviews before I could make a decision given that the shipping costs make this item VERY pricey.Just in shipping I ended up paying almost $40 which is half of the full product price.Anyway, after reading all the reviews I could not help but wonder; " is this manufacturer that wrong when it comes to sizing ? " I mean, this people are in the business of compression garments so how could they be that wrong in regarding to sizes since a considerable number of customers state this product to be "- wayyyyyy too small". It simply did not make any sense to me.I am 5'5'' tall, 148 lbs, 30" waist, 41" hips. According to the size chart I was supposed to get a MEDIUM. I had the hard task in my hands to either, stick to the size chart OR go up a size or two following the suggestions made by other buyers.After some considerations I decided to go only one size up. Instead of a MEDIUM I ordered a LARGE.Conclusion: STICK TO THE SIZE CHART. This product is not small at all. Get your measure and stick to it... This is a compression garment. This is supposed to be tight and also a struggle to clips the hooks together.Straight away I was able to wear it on the 4th row of clips. It is not ideal as I am already on the maximum level of compression but it tight - I could have ordered the size indicated by chart EASILY. There is no discomfort or pain and the quality of this garment is excellent.I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a very high quality faja. It works great and gives you a figure, especially to those lacking one. It's very tight and its best if you get it on in the morning when you're not as swollen. I like it and I'm sure I'll learn to love it. I'm very boxy and measured 41-40-43 so I ordered the xxl and that was for a smaller waist but hips was bigger than I measured so nonetheless it's tight but is working on my waist. Seems like it's working. And it's snug around my hips so it does run small. It does say to try using it couple of hours at first and then try a longer period, so I'm up to about 6 hours then I feel like I can't breathe, and I've only had it 5 days. So after I can't breathe anymore I put on my old garment, and that works great! Slowly but surely I'll be wearing it all day and have a waist after prolonged wear. Great garment!!

Bought this faja as I already have a Maria E second stage faja and wanted to get the one with the shorts. The one I currently own is an XL and purchased the L since already in the 4th (last row) of my XL faja. The sizing is off on this model. The sizing chart is the exact same as the one I previously purchased but when it arrived I couldn’t even get the legs through it without feeling excruciating pain to the point I threw up after I took it off. The sizing is really off and I think you need to go up 3 to 4 sizes because it will not fit you going just off of your measurements. I’m truly disappointed and wished they would size the leg openings according to the measurements. I felt like The leg measurement sizing was a youth size or a toddler size and my adult legs didn’t fit. For the maker of this please include sizing for the legs as well so women know they will not fit into this if they have a but or thighs larger than a preteen. Requested a return over 4 days ago and still haven’t gotten the shipping label. I feel that my refund is going to take five years at this rate and the current faja I have now (the XL) is too large !

First, the product arrived before expected. I love it when that happens. I mostly followed their sizing chart for the size to order. I was an XL according to my waist measurements and L according to my hips. Since I want to look slimmer, I bought the L. When it arrived, I unfastened all the hooks and tried on; WAY too small. Then, I fastened all the hooks back up on the first setting and tried shimmying it on. It was tough, but it worked. I could feel it compressing everything and there was no discomfort or pain. I wore it for a few hours the first day under jeans and a sweater. It was a little annoying wear at the thigh and it occasionally felt like the elastic there was digging into me. The strap would occasionally dig in around by the armpit also. After wearing it for about an hour, I was able to take the hooks to the next set in. Honestly, it did not take me from a size 8 to a 6. However, my jeans did feel somewhat looser than before. I think it will be a huge difference if I can keep taking in the hooks. By rear had a bit of a lift as well, but I wouldn't say hugely noticeable difference. Also, I would not recommend this with any skin tight clothing. I wore a form fitting tank under my sweater and you can see the outline of the hooks through it. Also, it can be a bit uncomfortable to bend over in; especially at the beginning. I'm looking forward to seeing how I look once I can get to the smallest setting. I'm also thinking about ordering the one with the longer legs in it.Update - the 2nd day of wearing it was for an entire day (at work). Again, the elastic at the thigh is slightly uncomfortable. I found myself adjusting this several times throughout the day. The suit itself was not uncomfortable, but not a moment went by that I didn't notice it. It is not at all painful. As for posture, it helps me to keep my lower back straight, but one could still slump their shoulders if they choose. This suit does help with rolls and even making you look slimmer. Just do not expect to look like the woman in the picture unless you look like that without the suit.
