Wicked + The Divine Volume 7: Mothering Invention (The Wicked + The Divine)

The Wicked & Divine continues to impress. Generally when stories feature 5 or more characters, the development of character or two can get lost in the shuffle or become irrelevant to the storyline. Not this book. Kieran Gillen does an amazing job of keeping every character (even support characters) relevant and playing an essential role in keeping the mystery and pacing of the story at a level that demands your attention. Can't wait for vol. 8!

LOVE this series- it seems so obvious and derivative at first and then it swings WAY off in another direction. And the art is holding up really well! No cheaping out on the quality and inventiveness.

In this penultimate volume, some questions are seemingly answered and new questions arise. I don't anticipate that I'll fully understand what is going on until I reach the end, but it is an incredibly enjoyable reading experience.

Not sure where this is going anymore. I love this series, but it feels like it may be getting stretched out. It’s still a well done series though. So I have hope.

Good story that develops the characters somewhat further, likely to not have an impact on show, still cool tho

This series is hands down my favorite comicbook series. I love getting more and more of the backstory, and seeing the endgame take place.

I can't wait till the next one. I am hookedVol. 8 is worth the wait but hopefully here asap

Have loved series so far but feel like I should have a third knocked off the price for this book. Had to skim read a whole bunch of pages that were the same. Get that they were hammering a point but could have been hammered a hell of a lot quicker! Feel swizzed

The cover was really badly damaged to this book on arrival. I do not understand how it is in such a bad state. Not very happy as I love this series and have been collecting all the books.
