You would probably need size 1 as it makes about two cups of coffee.

Is it dishwasher-safe?

Hi, because of the heat resistant material around the neck of the flask I tend to hand wash. I do sometimes pop the filter part in the top of the dishwasher.

can you place this on a hob to keep the coffee hot?

Hi, it is very thin glass, I don't think you could put it on any heat source or it would crack I tend to just make enough for one cup and drink it straight away :)
