Loving this book for our new puppy. It is geared especially for people who are interested in "show dogs" and not for people like me who have 3 Yorkshire Terriers as pets. That being said, all the info is organized and easy to read. It would be really helpful for someone bringing their new 10/12 week old puppy home. My case was that our puppy was born at our home in a singleton litter. I could have used more information about newborn yorkies. But I've gotten some great tips on training even for my older dogs. The month by month development chart is extremely helpful.

Great very detailed book containing a lot of developmental information about Yorkies. I learned a lot about their daily habits at each stage of their growth-like teething, and potty training. My hubby also read the book and agreed that it is very easy to read and describes yorkie behavior in very clear terms and tells you what to do with various dog related problems (i.e. biting, etc). Very excellent resource for any new yorkie owner.

I have never owned a pet before and was really worried about being a pet mommy, but this book is a must have to walk you through every step of your yorkies first year. I have learned so much and very happy I purchased the book.

This is a very good book for anyone who has a new puppy. My first puppy and had no idea what to expect. The book for Yorkie puppies give great details of what to expect month by month.

I found this very helpful in raising Ben, our Yorkie puppy. Ben is our pet not a "show dog." Organized like a baby book with one chapter for each month. Easy to read and well organized. However, this book is comprehensive, not a primmer. It would have been helpful if at the end of each chapter, there was a list of the most important points of the chapter. Very helpful in understanding our Yorkie's behavior. For example, in the section titled, "Your Yorkie thinks he can fly (But he can't)".

Good book. Exactly what I was looking for. I recommend this book for everyone who is planning to adopt yorkshire terrier puppy. I got all my answers to my questions about health problems and grooming.

Well written and we'll organized. Excellent and very relevant content. Far better than anything I could find in local bookstores!
