Assembly took my husband a little while, some of the bolts were in the wrong places and he had to switch them around until they were in the right place. But so far it has been a great, sturdy bike for my son. He rides hard and over rock, dirt, and gravel on our rural property, so we needed something sturdy. Great deal for the money.

I purchased this bike for my son for Christmas, and it has been a hit right out of the box! Here’s why we love it: Easy Assembly: Putting this bike together was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary tools were included. I had it ready to go in less than 30 minutes. Great Value: Considering the quality and features, this bike is a steal. It’s well-built and sturdy, perfect for a growing child. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price. Stylish Design: The bike looks awesome! My son loves the color and cool design. It’s definitely an eye-catcher in the neighborhood. Personalization: The best part for my son was the stickers that came with the bike. He was over the moon about customizing his new wheels with his name and some fun decals. It made the bike feel uniquely his. Overall, I highly recommend this bike for any young rider. It’s affordable, easy to set up, and most importantly, it brings a huge smile to my son’s face every time he rides it. A definite winner in our book

Great bike and the customer service was very helpful. We had a defective inner tube on one tire and the replaced it promptly and the whole process was a breeze. This has been a great first bike for our son.

I purchased the 16-inch version of this Joystar kids bike for a 4.5-year-old boy who spent a week with us at our vacation home. It turned out to be an excellent decision from a value-for-money perspective. The bike was easy to assemble, it is well made, sturdy, and durable, although somewhat on the heavy side. The included chain guard is a nice added safety feature. I am deducting one star because it does not include a hand brake. Disclaimer: I am a regular paying customer and did not receive any incentives from the seller or manufacturer.

It was difficult for me to find a 20 inch bike with training wheels that is well made. tried a couple that we ended up returning because the training wheels were unstable. My 7yo, 60lb son rides this with no issues! He loves his bike and can zoom around with the other neighbor kids now :)

This bike was a terrible purchase. That’s what you get for being cheap. We opted for this as a first lea er bike following a strider. Hoping it would grow a bit with our toddler and didn’t want to spend too much since we expected, as he learns, the bike would incur a bit of a beating. But this bike just falls apart. It’s cheaply made, none of the bolts stay tight no matter how many times you tighten them. The ones which hold the wheels on, just wiggle their way right off. The seat swivels side to side unable to tighten securely in place. And the tires and tubes are absolutely garbage. Ours arrived out of box with a busted tube. Additionally the tube doesn’t really fit the tire or the rim. Have tried to replace the tub with two different sizes and it’s the same issues. Something about the way it’s designed constantly causes a tire to pop. Even had a proper bike shop pro look at it. New tube in, lasted a few hours. Total disaster. Have spent two weeks since its arrival trying to problem solve so our kid can actually ride his bike at school with his friends and there’s always an issue making it unrideable. Have tried to contact the companies customer service several times and been rerouted to a foreign country with zero help to offer. Don’t waste your money.

My almost 4 year old picked this bike out and he loves it! The assembly directions were easy to follow. My son has been riding it for a couple weeks now with no issues. He loves the look of chrome rainbow-y colors. It’s a good weight and perfect size for him (41 in tall). I was iffy about the price but it seems to be great quality and worth it!

When the bicycle came the first thing I noticed was that the box was heavy. Not to worry, all it meant was that this thing was sturdy. I was impressed with the way the parts were packaged. You can very quickly determine if anything is missing. This bicycle was complete. The bike comes with a spanner, and Allen wrench, The spanner is chrome plated (nice touch). The bike is mostly put together and anyone who is used to doing minor maintenance on their bicycles can easily manage the assembly. I maybe took a quick glance at the instruction once or twice, but was able to put it together pretty much without them. Also included was a sheet of decals with letters of the alphabet with the vendor's invitation to "Name your bicycle". The decals can be placed on the tubing of the bike frame. (Nice little touch.) I was very impressed with the construction, packaging, accessories, sturdiness, ease of assembly, quality of parts and appearance of the bike. Oh yah, and by the way, it has a "quick release" seat. As the Child grows you can raise the seat without using tools. There are plastic covers for the bolts as well. The bicycle cost more than some of the others I was looking at, but I think it was worth it. I give it a very positive review. Good job Joystar! I like doing reviews and appreciate it when someone puts an effort into giving a good assessment to help me with my shopping; therefore, I usually go back and adjust my review over time if I find a problem. After my grandson has used it for a few months, if I find a problem, I will adjust this review to make it known. If any of you have spotted my past reviews you'll see that I call vendors out when they deserve it, but right now this one looks like a winner!

Received the bike without the ringing bell. The bell is missing in the package. Dangerous to cycle without a ringing bell.

So far so good and we're happy that we went with this model. Read through all of the good and bad reviews before purchasing and decided to give the 14 inch model a try. Came with all of the parts and necessary tools for assembly, except you'll need a Phillips screwdriver to put on the reflectors and little bike bell, and the parts came with one extra axel. Nothing seemed bent out of shape other than a ever so slight bend in one of the front forks but nothing of major concern, no scratches etc., and the assembly was very straightforward to put together that took about 10 minutes. Both tires needed some air and that was to be expected. It has no weird or unexpected noises and looks like a smooth ride when in use. The only caveat I can think of is depending on the child's height, the seat's lowest setting on this 14 inch model does not have enough distance between the pedals highest point and where the child's knees would come to a full bend which makes it hard to get going from that position (I think another reviewer mentioned the same thing), so you may need to adjust the seat a few inches higher even if they may need to get on their tippy toes to get on the bike. Other than that, I believe it's a well made, sturdy, and good quality kid's bike that is worth the sale price tag. I do not get the sense of any cheaply made parts or frame other than the plastic chain guard, but that is fairly typical to see on kids bikes. All of the other kids bikes we looked at between Amazon and in-person stores like CT and WM didn't seem to compare, looked cheaply made and had constant poor reviews - glad we went with this model! The first beige bike we ordered from the same seller and 14 inch model was expected to be a 2-day delivery, but we ended up cancelling and changing to the blue color instead midway through, and that new one took over a week to deliver. I'll update my review in a month to see if we still feel the same.
