SDS Official US Military MOLLE II Army ACU FLC Fighting Tactical Assault Vest Carrier

If you even think you may need a Molle vest buy this one now before the price goes up. It is very adjustable, very strong and durable. It’s cheap because the Army needlessly changed their camo pattern again. If you can’t adjust it, look at the other reviews and there is a guy that explains the whole process. It’s really easy once you’ve done it once. It should fit almost everyone.

Very nice vest at a super price!!! ..... BUT ...... BUT ..... be very aware that although it is fully adjustable at the waist and you WILL be able to zip it up, be aware that it will take some time to figure it out AND then make it fit you. I take a size 46 jacket and I got it to zip up with plenty of extra adjustment at the waist zipper .... after about 30 minutes of flying blind and cussing a blue streak wrestling with the thing. DO NOT cut anything thinking you have to do this to open it up. On the outside, at the sides, where it goes from 3 to 2 Molle webs on top of the camo, is where you adjust it. This looks to be sewn shut and the size locked in. Tabs on both sides are slipped in under the webbing, they are NOT sewn in. See my photo. Push up and down on these tabs and you'll see them move. Now, push one end all the way up and try and pry one end out. You can also stick a finger under it in the middle and pull it out. You'll get it. When you get both sides out of the webbing you should be able to get the vest to slide apart. You'll want to balance both side tabs to center the shoulder straps before putting them back in when you get it to your size. It's on the cheaper end of these surplus vests. since the pattern doesn't blend in well first thing I did out of the package was bleach it and then color it brown. Would recommend these for durable and maybe workwear if your job permits it.

The vest I received was in new condition, marked US, with no issues. I was so happy with it, I ordered a few more. It has lots of Molle, internal pockets, and wide adjustment.Tips:If the vest rubs your neck, tighten the back vertical straps. Rub some bar soap, wax or paraffin on the zipper, if it gives you issues. Waist adjustment is made via the T bars inside the lower panels on each side.

I bought this vest to carry tools. I put different bags on it. It is made well. BUT it is absolutely not comfortable, the handle is hard and rubs your neck until it bleeds. The load is distributed unevenly and after a few days my neck and shoulders ache. So this thing is useless for me.

The vest is made very well, really happy with the purchase. I think I may even purchase a second one. At first I wrote a 2 star review but before I hit submit I looked at other reviews found out how to adjust the waist. I would have given it 5 stars but in the description and photos the seller should show a picture or video with instructions on how to adjust the size. Seems I'm not the only one that was unaware it could adjusted.

I was looking for a cheap chest rig to carry mags and handgun.To turn this into a chest rig, remove the back straps and remove the belt so that the connection points are in the back. This way, the zipper is left permanently closed, and to put it on you just throw it over your head and clip the belt behind your back. Fast on and fast off.There are YT videos showing the step by step. Just search for "FLC vest modifications".Then add on molle mag pouches, holster, dump pouches, etc.
