Love the look, weight and balance of this letter opener. It looks beautiful and is very functional. Great gift idea for anyone who have to open any amount of mail and is tired of paper cuts and hard to open envelopes (ie junk mail you have to sort and shred or recycle). I also love the box size. Repurposed for wand storage for a friend. I would only ask the maker used tissue paper to pack rather than the plastic flocked insert but I think it may fit some wands. Ok, I need to stop reading Harry Potter.

Pros: it is cool, shinny, and does its job. Kind sturdy, easy to use n handle.Cons: a big too long, as a matter of fact,, it is a bit over 9 inches, too long like a weapon, for home use is ok, not convenience to store in car, travel or EDC.

These letter openers are sturdy, nice weight in your hand, very pretty and the price you can't beat. Others were more expensive and yet these are very adequate, I'm giving them as gifts and I may even have them engraved. The price great! I'm very happy with this purchase, and I'll probably reorder for gifting.

This looks much more expensive than it is and comes in a fabulous box for gifting.

This is a very attractive letter opener. It is very sturdy and has a nice weight to it. The handle fits comfortably in your hand and is easy to use. It works well and is not overly sharp so you are less likely to cut yourself. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Very pleased with my purchase.

This is a really nice letter opener. Beautiful finish and a nice heft. Works perfectly to open letters. I ordered 2 more after using the 1st one for a while so I could have an opener in all the places I open letters.

This may sound crazy I know, but I have always wanted a letter opener. When I saw this set on Amazon I just had to order it. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this item. It has some weight to it and it is very nice...it displays very well on my desk. It is very expensive looking yet you get a pair for under $20. You can keep one for yourself and gift one to a colleague...I can assure you, that they would be pleased.

This letter opener has an excellent edge, just sharp to open letters effectively. Attractively simple in design good weight and very functional.
