Beautiful hair pin
The hair gets tangled in the pin when removing from you hair. The plastic strip broke off on one so far. The just to difficult to remove from hair.

Very pretty, but fragile and maybe not for thick hair
The decorative acetate broke off while putting the pin on my hair and another broke off taking a coup or of my hair, that was disappointing. Also my hair gets caught a bunch and hurts like hell to remove. Not good for windy days or for the back of your head. If your hair gets caught in the clip sand you have it on at the bank of your head it could take a while to get loose and I'm not sure that it's worth it. But they are very pretty.

Great bobby pins!
These are well-made. Just the right amount of subtle bling for an old lady like me! But the manufacturer should include in the title that these are bobby-pins, not barrettes. These were exactly what I was looking for, but I wouldn't even have known to buy these if another reviewer hadn't posted a photo (she was actually disappointed that they were bobby pins). Also, the bobby pins work much better than alligator clips. Those kind of poke out too much.

Almost half were damaged when I received them
I was eager to receive these, since they looked very pretty and I need something to deal with my uncut-since-February hair. But I was disappointed to find that almost half — six out of fourteen — of the clips were broken. The decorative plastic piece had come unglued from the metal clip. And another one was partially unglued and would have come off the rest of the way with just a use or two, since you have to pull the clip open to slide it onto your hair. The decorative part is really quite pretty, but there's no way I should have to glue the pieces back together again — especially when they're brand new! Plus, the clips are very tight. Just trying one of them, I pulled out a hair when I removed it. So, I'm sending them back for a refund.
