A man is known by his support socks!
If I'm fortunate enough to get a seat on the Subway I always cross my legs so everyone can admire my Doctor's Choice Over the Calf Compression socks. Once an attractive woman who had been eyeing me the entire ride dropped a piece of paper on my lap as she got off at her stop. I smugly assumed it was her telephone number. Instead it said " Hey Big Boy, I really like your Doctor's Choice Over the Calf Compression socks!" Once in a bucket-of-blood tavern a drunken biker approached me and said "I don't like your face and I was gonna punch it until I saw those handsome Doctor's Choice Over the Calf Compression socks you're wearing!" Another time I was being chased by a vicious pit-bull terrier.I fell and he was about to bite my leg when he said "Oh, you are wearing Doctor's Choice Over the Calf Compression socks! I don't want to ruin them by biting you. Tell me, do they come in any colors other than black, tan, and white?" I had to tell him they didn't. He said "That's a shame. I'd like a nice forest green or Navy Blue or a dark maroon, or gray, maybe even a vertical stripe."So it's unanimous; everyone likes the silky texture, the ease at which these socks go on and that they are so smooth you don't even know you are wearing them. If they only came in more colors...

The best socks I tried, Just perfect!
I just started needing compression socks and decided to try some of the leading kinds offered on amazon to find what works best. By far this is my favorite compression socks. Many of the others are too much of a struggle (and I am strong) to get on . This brand has good compression and is just right over the top of the calf. The sock is well reinforced at all seams and the top band too, durable. Another advantage to Doctor's Choice, there is an embroidered white logo on the top of the front of the toes so that it is easy to line up the socks to go on straight and not have to keep pulling at them to adjust and get the toes and heel in the right place. Not on other socks where you have to guess and keep adjusting them very annoying and tiring. I recommend these and will not buy any of the other brands in the future. Learn what works best and stick to it.

Mens low compression socks
Purchased the Doctor's Choice low compression socks because they were lighter weight and not so hot for summer. Mu only complaint is that the cuff is tight and bites into the calf. Seems like all sock mfgr's don't realize how tight they make the cuff. Fabric is light and breathes well. Maybe ordering next size up will correct the problem.

light, prevents swelling, comfortable, and easy to put on
I have pedal and leg edema, and these socks are lighter than SB Sox, easier to put on and remove, fit well, are comfortable to wear, and effective in diminishing and preventing edema. The black ones look like dress socks. Highly recommended.. I have only just bought them and cannot comment on how well they wear over time. If dark blue color was available, I would buy that color..

everything is important
I bought these compression socks for my husband who has edema very badly and he wore them all day the first day and said his foot and leg felt great from the moment he put them on. They were easy to put on and take off and the compression was perfect. Great socks. Thanks. Would highly recommend them.

Over the calf compression socks are just what the doctor ordered.
I have neuropathy in my legs and feet due to diabetes. These low compression knee length socks are wonderful. They are easy to put on and take off and they look great. I plan on ordering another 6 or 7 pair in the near future. My orthopedic doctor was impressed may them as well and wanted to know Lehrer I got them and who they were made by. I highly recommend this product.

Poor Bang for your Buck
I went to put them on for the first time and they have a hole in them. They have an emblem on them and due to this it caused a hole. I don't recommend them at all. I wish I could return them but the time has expired. They are not really light weight either. The ones I normally buy are lighter but the compression is better. I was trying to save some money but that didn't work out so good.

Very comfortable
I do not have diabetes nor do I have bad problems with water retention but compression socks make my lower legs/feet feel supported during exercise and warm when I am not active. These socks are easy to put on and take off so I don't dread diving down between my knees and wrestling with my feet and a bunch of super resistant fabric to put on and take off.The compression tension on the socks is even and moderate. I know diabetics who use this level of compression and it is comfortable and feels therapeutic.I have worn the socks for gym work outs and just for day to day casual wear and I like them for both purposes. The socks look good, they are kind of "sheer", and they have a logo located on top where the toes emerge from my foot so I can make corrections when lining them up to put them on.Good purchase. I have recommended them to a couple of "work out friends".
