Did the job!
I needed to put a new fuel line on my Triumph TR6. The tubing was not bent to fit, so I had to bend it myself. Knowing that you can ruin tubing if you try to bend by hand I bought this bender. It performed as needed!

Great tool at a good price
This tool works great if you're using this for its intended purpose. If you try to bend 3/8" stainless steel with a wall thickness of 0.065" you'll snap it into pieces. This is made out of cast aluminum of questionable quality. That being said, if you stick to break lines and tubing that is easier to bend (i.e. copper, copper/nickel, thin stainless) you shouldn't have any problem. Also I picked up the pieces of my broken bender, bolted it to an iron plate, and used a torch to heat the aforementioned stainless tubing orange hot, and it bent very easily. Learn from my mistakes and use heat to your advantage if you want to use this tool for jobs it wasn't built for, it'll save you a ton of money avoiding a $200 tubing bender. Just don't burn yourself.

It Bends Tubes!
It does what it claims to do – bend tubes. The gauge on it is a good guide for getting close to the angle you want, but most tubes will spring back a little and you'll have to do a small final bend to get them perfect. I'm not knocking the bender, it's just physics. The handles could be a little longer – starting a bend on larger, harder tubing with them open at such a wide angle can be a little difficult.

A tip for best results possible
EVERYONE I know calls this type of pipe bender "The Pipe Kinker" , (and with good reason). I've seen people use heat, move the piece a little at a time, or even try to bend it slowly, and that all still pales in comparison to just filling the tube with sand. Just use some duct tape one one end to seal off the tube. Then fill the tube with sand (the smaller the grains of sand the better)*. Then tape off the other end. *NOTE - Fill the tube with sand completely, then tap it on a table, or something, to pack the sand down (add more sand if needed). Most of the metal tubes you will be bending with this are "soft" metals, so there's no support for them to keep their shape; you'll just crush the tube and the air inside. The sand has nowhere to go, so it supports the walls of the tube, thus helping it keep its shape. Attached are pics showing the tight 180 degree bend (which I turned into yet another spout for my cats water fountain). The inside radius is about 1.5 inches.

Does the job perfectly adequately, I haven’t used a bending tool for brake pipes before but working on a full restoration project this tool is so much better than forming bends around your knee! Have only used the common 3/16” size but forms really neat bends even up to 180 degrees. Recommended.
