It fits together with ease, with each section screwing into the next, Mistakes cannot be made because the flex is already installed. There is a small amount of movement in the upright but it is perfectly safe. On/Off switch is a foot switch so quite convenient. The only thing needed to get it up and working is a bulb (max 60w) which is not supplied.
