It will work with any 12v power supply that can provided the needed power. **Q: What does this mean in the specs, "from 1S to 6S"?** A: 1s to 6s is the amount of battery pack cells it can charge **Q: Charger is not outputting 10a. i have a 30a power supply hooked up to it. any ideas on why it won’t put out 10a?** A: You shouldn't need to use 10amps to charge a lipo. But to change the output you have to go on the charger and select the amperage you want to charge your batteries at. Don't charge batteries at 10amps unless you want to fry them. You Wil have to make a jumper. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly functional unit with a few small problems. *by H***S on January 15, 2016* I bought this to charge multicopter batteries. It works very well, but I would suggest a few accessories. If you have many of the came cell number batteries, get a splitter. It also doesn't include a power supply so you'll have to figure out your own. I didn't feel like dropping the bucks for a dedicated power supply, so I attached it to a deep cycle battery that is charged by a battery maintainer. It gives me the benefit of being able to charge out in the field. Also, it only includes XT60 plugs and some alligator clips, so definitely get one of those big octopus charging adapters.The functions are very useful. Definitely download the free software to operate the thing, it allows you to set charge limits and other things.Complaints: The fan is loud loud loud loud. It's a common problem among small cheap computer type fans. If it bothers you, you can buy another one and change it out. Fortunately, it only comes on when discharging. Cords are lacking, you may need to cut one of the included cords and splice on some other connector. I put on ring terminals to attach to the deep cycle battery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 8 volt 19 amp supply laying around that works great with this *by S***S on May 11, 2017* While I just got this charger, it seems to function very well, and performs as it should. You will need a power supply for it, and if you dont have a power supply that uses banana clips for output, you will have to splice some wires to get one that works. I had an extra 13.8 volt 19 amp supply laying around that works great with this. You can also modify a computer power supply to work with this charge.The menu made sense to me, and I was able to get it work without any issues...I suggest researching this before you buy as most complaints I have read are the power supply issue (needing a separate one as this wont just plug in to the wall) and the connectors not being what they needed.
