Review: Easy Set-up - It’s a neat size and shape with a good leaflet to tell you all you need to know. The first time I turned it on it scanned. The Time set itself. The radio played immediately and the sound was good, clear and sounded as if from a more expensive radio. The move from station to station was easy and instantly a good sound, no struggling. Love the shape of this radio. I used 4 batteries but will no doubt use mains. I think this is a good product and it came well packed and has the mains plug and an alternative 2 pin plug. I fitted the 3 pin plug easily. The carry strap looks like leather but may not be. It’s perfectly strong and does a great job. I used the antennae. Very pleased with this radio. Recommend.

**Q: My rm will not stay in standby mode any more.  i’ve read and re-read the instruction manual about switching between on and standby but it no longer st**
A: Yes I’d say so as mine doesn’t do that

**Q: Every time I turn off the radio, when I turn it back on the clock has reset to 00:00. Am I doing something wrong?**
A: We've got two identical radios of this type. In both cases we only use mains power (no batteries) and, if the radio is completely switched off, when it is next switched on again the clock initially shows 00:00 for literally a second or two before resetting itself at the correct time. It presumably picks this up from the radio signals. There is never any need to manually set the clock. Incidentally, with one of our radios we always completely switch it off from the mains when it's not in use and there's never been a problem with it remembering the stations that we've stored in the pre-sets. Presumably it has some kind of 'flash' memory in which this information is stored.

**Q: my display has gone faint i can hardly see it? i use my dab on mains ..help please**
A: My display has also failed, unfortunately out of warranty

**Q: Maybe a daft question..but is there the capability to save presets as I have looked at the buttons and cannot see a preset button.Thank you**
A: I'm sorry, I was so disappointed in this radio, I don't remember the button layout. I sent it back and bought the Play 10 instead. Lovely little machine with 3 presets. You won't regret it.
