Dark Side Blades Spring Assisted Folding Pocket Knife

I love this knife. I love scaring people with it. It feels good and the color is nice and I use it to open all my boxes and things. It’s a little hard to flick open. You have to put some effort into it but otherwise once it’s open, you are a menace to society.

I like to collect knives for both looks and usefulness. It's great when it's both together. They don't have to be expensive to make me happy, and there are some fairly decent working knives on the cheap. At only $13 this one is totally worth it, especially if you like dragons and fantasy motif. The best part about this knife is that the design is on BOTH sides. I have quite a few like this with raised design on stainless steel scales, and many of them only have the design on one side. Considering I don't like pocket clips and remove them immediately, it's rather disappointing when there's no design on the clip side. But this knife looks awesome! The other cool thing is the dragon scales design on the blade itself. Very ornate and eye catching, I always get compliments when I take it out to cut string or something. It's not exactly a utility design but that's what I like about it. Looks bad@$$! The curve of the handle feels really good in hand. And you can whip it out fast for self defense. People say the blade is difficult to flip open, but I don't have a problem with it. I can easily open and close it with one hand, and no you don't need to flick it. It shoots open and locks with the perfect amount of tension. The flip point is a little low but honestly that's better than a thumb peg screwed into the side of the blade.The only thing I don't like about these kinds of knives is that they use star nuts instead of peened-over pins, which wouldn't be a problem but I have had them loosen and unscrew themselves over time, sometimes losing the screws, especially if you use the knife a lot and carry it in your pocket. I have since bought a set of star and hex nut screwdrivers just so I can firstly remove the pocket clip, unscrew all the pins in the handle, put a drop of superglue or thread seal on and screw them back in. The hex nut can be used to loosen or tighten the tension on the blade (don't put superglue on that one) but I would not mess with that unless it loosens too much from use.Knife comes pretty sharp, but you can certainly sharpen it more to your own liking. I use a 1000/6000 whet stone. The most action this knife sees is opening packages and cutting up the recycling so for me it doesn't need to be razor sharp, and it keeps an edge well.

Don’t expect it to cut anything besides tape and letters other then that it’s just for looks

Can't believe this was only 10 dollars. I would have paid double that for this. It's incredibly sturdy and well built. The screws are tight and it's very well put together. I see allot of other reviews saying the knife is too hard and even impossible to open but the I one I got flips open with ease. Maybe there is an inconsistency with the product or maybe some people just have weak fingers IDK. The pictures don't do it justice. It's much prettier in person especially when the light hits it. Fits comfortably in my hand well and easy to handle. Performs all the tasks of a knife of course. Perfect for self defense as the look and sound alone is enough to scare most people away. Easily the best $10 dollars I ever spent.

served me 4 years and broke the tip on metal, love the knife and it would really stand out from the rest but tarnishes easily just make sure to polish it and good as new.
