I bought this to replace another rangefinder of the same brand (I dropped it in a pond!). I found my previous one reliable and accurate and this seems to be the same but also seems a bit more weatherproof.

The golf rangefinder arrived today an I took a trip up to my local golf course to try it out. Firstly it's slightly smaller than I expected but that does mean I could probably carry it in my pocket rather than the supplied case. Tried it out from a position where I could see 3 flags at different distances, measured at close to 80yds, just over 350yds and just over 500yds, in all cases it locked onto the flags in under 5 seconds even though I don't have the steadiest of hands, I think 6x magnification is perhaps a little strong, 5x would probably give a steadier image for the usual golfing distances, I would have preferred it not to have the slope adjustment figures in the viewfinder as it does make it a bit cluttered and it's not really that necessary for average golfers. Only downside in use is that there is too little eye relief on the eyepiece, I found I had to place my index finger on the top edge of the eyepiece and rest it against my eyebrow to gives the clearest view, in this respect it could perhaps favour spectacle wearers. For the money I'd class it as good value if you can accept the caviats.

Thus was a purchase that I’m very pleased with ! They are a great product and very accurate affordable and durable being water resistant they can be used in most weather conditions and they are a must if your a target shooter or hunter they are especially good with a crossbow up a tree or in a hide very very happy and highly recommend even if you are a golfer !

Great when it was working however coming up for two years and it stopped working (tried changing battery still didn’t work). Not sure of life span of these range finders but thought it would be more than two years…:( disappointing.

Excellent quality and easy to use

Inexpensive, but I used the rangefinder and found it to be easy to use and does as described. I wear glasses and it did not cause an issue. Press the button once for on and press again to calculate distance, all happens in a few seconds. The only time the flag feature did not work was when it was pouring with rain, but I would think that happens with all rangefinders. Switched to distance mode and it worked. Great device for a great price. I bought some extra batteries, but after 5 rounds, not had the battery indicator come up. I suspect I won't have to change the battery this year. I really like the case it comes with. The method is to point the finder at the flag and move from left to right, works well.

This budget range finder works well, but can be a little more difficult to use when there are trees behind a green. I was totally unable to get a true yardage with scaffolding behind the green on a building site. That said, this is very simple to use under the majority of conditions, and helps tremendously when selecting a club.

Ottimo prodotto: io lo uso sul campo da golf. Leggero, maneggevole, veloce e intuitivo. La funzione di ricerca bandiera è utilissima e funziona alla grande. Riconosce bandiere anche a distanze importanti (oltre 250 mt). La funzione balistica è utile ma non troppo in quanto il calcolo effettuato dal simulatore corrisponde ad una parabola in assenza di spin(il volo di una palla di cannone per intendersi) molto differente da un volo di palla da golf. Comunque utile. ps: non so se l'utilizzo di tale funzione è consentita in tutti i percorsi e/o tornei. Molto comoda la chiusura veloce per evitare di dover aprire e chiudere la zip ad ogni utilizzo. Provato anche in parallelo ad altri telemetri più blasonati e la misurazione corrisponde perfettamente. Non ho utilizzato, se non per curiosità, la funzione velocità istantanea ma mi sono accorto che, per una misurazione più precisa, l'oggetto in movimento deve essere assolutamente alla stessa altezza dell'osservatore (come ovvio) in quanto il telemetro non compensa in automatico la differenza di altezza (cosa che sarebbe stata possibile implementando il tutto con un semplice calcolo trigonometrico). Nel complesso: Soddisfatto al 100% dell'acquisto. Per chi gioca a golf è un MUST per misurare sia distanze di bandiere che di ostacoli (cosa resa un po' più complicata se l'ostacolo ha una superficie molto orizzontale in quanto è difficile centrare un punto esatto con il laser e la difficoltà aumenta con la distanza)

Lo uso para la caza y la verdad que no tiene nada que envidiarle a otros. El acople para poner y quitarle la pila es una auténtica pasada ya que soy una persona muy cuidadosa y me gusta a las cosas que llevan pilas quitárselas para que no se sulfaten. El mecanismo del. Ismo es súper sencillo tiene para medir la velocidad, grados de altitud y como telémetro es bastante preciso.

Bought this to aid the guess of distance for hunting exam. Works really good. As someone said in previous review it's not back-lit. But it really doesn't matter unless you are trying to see in complete darkness. I would say the text even is very well readable. I also use this for measure heights of trees when cutting down trees close to houses. It's really accurate but takes a few measurements before finding multiple identical results. What I was wondering was the limit of angle, it doesn't show anywhere. But I can confirm at least 45 degrees positive and negative. One annoying thing is she short power-on. It turns off maybe 5-10 seconds after measurement. It's easy to turn on again and it turns on fast. But you sometimes need to press power/measure button once and sometimes twice if it have turned itself off meanwhile.

I was skeptical about how accurate a cheap rangefinder like this might be. The distances match up with GPS cart on the course (which measures to pin). At the Top Tracer driving range all flags with known distances from my bay were within +/- 0.5 yards! (Testing from 50 yards to over 200) The adjustment for slope feature seems to provide reasonable adjustments to distances. Recommend highly!
