It works, with a catch
So it works. And there will be a few times when I am really close in that Ill use it. But after I practiced with it for a while, and got a feel for the very different way it feels and is used, I practiced some longer pitches. And I did notice that the difference of the wedge meant that, when I picked up my regular pitching wedge, working with the square strike had temporarily made my use of a normal club more difficult, almost confusing. Sure, I might get used to it, but I can see now that the real use of Square Strike will be very close chips. I dont think I want to really integrate it into my game. But I will use it when Im in shallow rough and only 4 - 5 feet from the hole.

My new favorite club
I can’t even begin to explain how much this has helped my short game. There is just no point in torturing yourself with traditional wedges when you can use a chipper. This club is straight up fun to use, and it’s remarkable how accurate it is.You do have to practice with it of course, which is fun in and of itself. The club head is real heavy so you just make a putting strike for an easy numb and run. I can’t even imagine playing without this. Even as my handicap lowers, I don’t plan on ever taking this out of the bag.

Its alot better than using a pitching wedge.
60 yards or less.

Supposedly it’s impossible to fat this thing. Ha. Hold my beer.

Review from a 9 Handicap golfer . . .
I fluctuate between a 7 and 11 handicap. The worst part of my game (and I'm too lazy to fix it properly) is chipping and putting. I bought the square strike thinking it was worth a try. The best part about it (by far) is that it's pretty difficult to hit it fat or thin. The hardest part is judging the distance your ball will travel. I bought the 45 degree square strike and when I play on fast greens it's hard to control the distance -- often hitting it too far past the hole. I just bought the 55 degree square strike to get a little more loft on the ball for a softer landing; maybe I'll revise my review after playing with the higher lofted club. Overall, I like the club -- well enough to buy a 2nd one!

My favorite new club - a game changer.
I find the square strike 45 degree wedge to be much more forgiving and consistent as a chipping wedge than my previous pitching wedge, and still serves as a fine pitching wedge from further out.As someone who took up golf later in life and is a fairly high handicapper, I'm looking to build a club set that is forgiving, yet affordable, especially for the short game. While no miracle club, I do find the square wedge 45 chips much easier and more consistently, especially on shorter swings, where my lighter club often got hung up. The club weight is very conducive to a putt-like, smooth and consistent swing. I'm definitely on target more often with this club. The bounce not only helps prevent the consequences of fat shots and getting hung up, but because I'm not so worried about fat shots, I'm also much less likely to skull the ball.Since I wasn't too disappointed with my current pitching wedge, I started with the square wedge 55 first which was a mistake. I should have started with the 45 and developed comfort with it before purchasing the 55. However, I have no regrets about either. The company and many reviews focus on this clubs as a chipper around the green and that is indeed where this club shines. However, I think it's important to note, it's a perfectly fine pitching wedge and is my go to club from 90 yards or so and in. (I don't hit this quite as far as my previous pitching wedge, but since this is mostly for less than full distance, that doesn't really matter.)I watched a number of video reviews done by very experienced golfers who gave some criticism to this club for it's lack of versatility. True, this isn't a club you are going to open way up and do ultra high lob shots with or work the ball with. However, that's not what it's designed for. It's designed to be forgiving and provide consistency to the game for amateur golfers and I feel it does that very, very well. As with any new club, it does take some getting used to. Obviously this club won't magically compensate for distance, slope, green speed, break etc. That unfortunately still requires a lot of practice. One way I do get more versatility out of this club for chipping is to have 3 places in my stance for the ball, which effectively gives the club three different lofts. (I only use the forward position, hitting out of the rough on very short shots, so the angle of the bounce along the ground isn't an issue)What I also like is that Square Strike now makes some irons that are of similar design. While I don't think those are game changers as much as this club is, it means one can have a set of wedges and irons that are a complimentary set with similar characteristics and an appropriate loft variance between them. I feel this is great for amateurs such as myself who want to bring as much consistency to the game as possible.I've purchased a few new clubs this year, all of which I like, but this is the only one I can say is without a doubt a game changer for me.

Very nice club.
It looks good. It feels good and it works.I am getting it up and down again from 50 yds and in. No more fears. Actually look forward to missing the green so I can chip it close.

The Club is a “Must Be” in bag Club, stroke saver
Took a bit of practice to get speed for the Chip Swing ( putter swing) but once you get the distance down it’s awesome, pick a spot and roll it to the hole, magic

Got the 55 and 45
So I first got the 55 degree first and liked the feel of it.Really easy to get it up in the air and straight, in close to the green.Rarely chunk it but did struggle at first to get the right feel on shots up tight on the green or bump and runs.So then I got the 45 degree to help with the bump and run game and man this club worked great. Only used it once but was putting chips inside of 6ft constantly.Getting much more consistency with these two clubs then I used to get with my wedge 50 yards and in.If you struggle 50 yards and in and chipping these clubs work as advertised.

What the heck
I like the weight ! As for a review ! I would think you would ask me to do a review after a golf course was open or driving range or anything seeing how we are on lockdown pretty hard to do reviews on outdoor products of any kind

Don’t give up on it.
Got the 55 degree for my husband,It took about 100 shots in the backyard. Then about 3 rounds of 18 holes. But once I got the hang of it WOW!!! This is the most reliable club I own.

Great club actually does what they claim. Probably saves me about 8-10 strokes per round

Still trying to manage the stick after 1 month
Not easy to get used to it, I went back to my regular chipper, every time I take it out if the bag, I miss my chip. Still not used to it. Maybe it’s only me that can not manage the stick, I only play 70 games a year !!!!!
