Beautifully made copper bottle
I LOVE this bottle! I had a good quality copper bottle that was difficult to drink directly from-I kept sloshing water down my front. The flip top spout on this one is perfect. Water did leak from behind the plastic top, until I discovered this fix: after filling the bottle, be sure to dry the screw threads on both the bottle and the lid, tighten snugly but not over tight, and voila! Perfectly leak proof. And my water tastes and feels “softer” to me from this bottle. The spots and discolorations that happen are a natural process of patina that tells you it’s pure copper. Beautifully handcrafted, I know I will enjoy it for years.

Excellent watter bottle
I bought this water bottle because of the antimicrobial properties of copper. As for its functionality as a water bottle... It's fine. It's a water bottle. It works. I will say this though... Stay away from all the other copper water bottles that have a copper metal screw-on cap. The copper cap water bottles have faulty threading and leak and the caps often corrode and are difficult to unscrew. The copper cap water bottles are a real waste of good copper.The antimicrobial properties of this water bottle are excellent as expected. Super bugs like M.R.S.A. and Streptococcus Pyogenes don't stand a chance. Just remember not to use hot drinks in it or store liquid in it for more than 12 hours because if you do this often then copper will leach into the liquid and over the long run you could get copper toxicity symptoms.I would buy it again if I needed to and I would recommend it to anyone.

My favorite so far.
Actually love the plastic top. I can keep it full all the time so oxididation is hardly occuring. Seamless, uncoated, pure copper and a great value. What's not to like?

I should have purchased TWO!
This was such a great item, I should have purchased TWO! I read MANY, MANY reviews on similar items. I finally settled on this item. I wasn't "settling" at all! This is a GREAT item! Very pleased w/my purchase!

Slightly disappointed
Like another reviewer mine smelled terrible on the inside like motor oil. And mines got black marks on the rim that wont wash off or scrap off not sure if its bad copper plating or what it is. But it does hold water and has the appearance of copper so its got that..

My husband took it.
I bought it for myself. When my husband saw it, he immediately liked it and don't let me touch it. It's a beautiful copper bottle. The lid looks sturdy. I should have ordered two.

Makes me drink water daily
Love my 100% copper water bottle and the spout is fantasticI fill it up and drink daily!My water intake is now at its optimal level and I'm more disciplined drinking water
