The media could not be loaded.  I am redoing my room and I wanted some lights to put up. These light are the right colors to make any room feel cozier. I ordered these lights almost on a whim. When I received them, they looked even better in person, and I was excited to put them up. Had we known we were going to like them so much, we probably would have ordered more, because it is connetable. It has a 6-hour on, 18-hour off timer. The downside to this is that to set it, you have to turn on the lights and timer right at the time you want them to come on every day. The upside is that once you do that, as long as nobody unplugs the lights, they consistently turn on and off every day at the same times. These lights also have 4 different "lighting modes". We prefer to keep them "slow fading in and out", but they have some more "flashy-y" modes which were a little too flashy for us, which we do like and are really pretty. The little remote that comes with it is handy and allows you to turn the lights on and off, change the lighting modes, and set the timer. I'm very happy with these lights and really enjoy the soft light that they bring to the bedroom that allows us to turn off the brighter bedroom lights, but not be sitting in total darkness. Gives the room a cozy atmosphere!

These are not the traditional style of Xmas lights. The multicolor mode only blinks or fades, there is no steady on. The solid color white is a bluish white, and not the traditional warm white of Xmas. That being said, these lights are FABULOUS and the brightness is incredible! There are so many solid colors to choose from and all solid colors can be steady on, blinking, or multiple modes fading into another color. I would like a multicolor steady on option as well, however the multicolor blinking mode with different speeds is very festive for Xmas. One of the best features is that the cord is clear, not white or green, so it blends in to whatever surface it is on. I like the versatility of these lights, they can be used for any holidays, and they work well for a more modern Xmas decor!

The media could not be loaded.  I bought 3 strands of these lights. First I bought one and loved it!!! The lights are super bright, fun and colorful! So I ordered 2 more. The 2 I got in the second order and the one I ordered first all have the same packaging, box, instructions etc, BUT the remotes look different, the block near the end where the plug is also looks different. I tried to connect the strands together, as I thought that was possible, but when I connected them, they just blinked and wouldn’t work properly. I ended up plugging each strand into a power strip individually, which is fine, EXCEPT the first strand I ordered that seems different will not sync correctly with the other 2 strands, so the colors are all over the place. Luckily, I happen to be ok with that......and sometimes, they just go black for a moment and seem to have a mind of their own and put on whatever light show they choose on their own. But as stated before, I’m cool with that because they are fun and super bright !! Hoping they hold up, because at $30/per strand, they are not cheap!!

Excellent customer service, this company listens to its customers. I have purchased several of these light sets over the past few months and have been using them every night for the past 3 months. I do cover the control module and plugin because they are outside. Only had an issue with one light set not turning on after 2 months of continuous use and customer service was quick to replace the lights with a new set. I like the color options and have been changing the colors frequently as a part of my Halloween and now Christmas lights display. They remember the last color selected when turned off then back on and when power is removed turn on automatically. Once every hour the code in the control module seems to reset causing the lights to turn of default to white but then they change back to the previously selected color just a little weird at first and thought I would add to this review.The one year warrant is nice. Had a light set go out and ollnys customer service was quick to replace it. Going with a different type of lights for next years giant ornament but will definitely find another use for these lights. Would be nice if the could link together but they were nice lights. Had them outside for 8 months and only had 2 of 18 strands die, but they were replaced for free. Some of the lights do look like they are rusting at the connections to the lights don't know if this will cause an issue in the future.

Bought this string last year for my Christmas tree and loved them so much came back to buy a 2nd set this year but they weren't in stock so purchased OLLNY's 198 LED set. These are better, and not because of the 2 additional LEDs. Comparing the 2 sets:+ The light heads in this set are a little larger and give a much larger spots of light.+ Speed control allows for less "aggressive" jump/fade setting.+ White is cool, but not blue.+ Yellow is a tinge green, but not chartreuse.+ Pink is closer to pink, not so blue.+ Better price!The only thing the 198 set wins on is the lower voltage (6 vs 29) means less power consumption and from what I read possibly longer life before the LEDs fade out. I really don't care for all the different mode settings. Several seem like they would be seizure inducing.So overall the this set is the winner but some of the 16 colors are very close. I would happily trade a couple of the blues, a couple of the greens, and an extra orange for a couple real pinks (light and hot), and a warm white, and soft warm yellow. Add in a subtle twinkle and this set couldn't be beat.
