The Crosman had some size variation but went in easily with a feel and sometimes needed a little push to seat past the face of the breech. The H&N pellets wanted to enter a little sideways but a firm push would seat them flush. All 3 pellet brands were carefully tested by shooting card stock targets at a measured 15 yds. (45 ft.) from a supported position. The HW30 with a BSA Essential scope on 7X, and the HW50 with a Hawke scope on 9X. The H&N pellets are equal to the Crosman or maybe a little more accurate in the HW50 due to the higher pellet weight in a higher fps. rifle while the Crosman pellets being lighter seem to have the accuracy edge in the slower fps. rifle, the HW30.
