Tower Scandi T10037G Kettle with Rapid Boil and Boil Dry Protection, 1.7L, 3kW, Grey

Stylish looking, quick boiling and practical kettle - brilliant for the price. Has three main features I wanted, the scandi look, a flip lid and a clear volume display. Maybe the spout is a little wide and splashy and maybe a little noisy at full blast but it still gets five stars from me.

Brilliant Kettle - Boils quickly and not very loud. Best one i've had in a while and good value for money - only problem is handle is NOT WOODEN - Has a vinyl covering which has blistered with the steam from the lid so has now slightly "bubbled" and is starting to peel off - not sure how long it will stay in a "usable condition.

Fast delivery but could do with better packaging, it came in original box, for everyone to see, and the box had been received by my local post office, opened. Water seems to escspe from the lid when pouring, but that could be that I had filled it to the upper marking, well see. Also, in the 2 days since ordering the price had dropped, trust me to miss a bargain! Fast boiling and looks good, microwave next!

We used to have an overpriced kettle which died due to several very basic things going wrong with it. So made the decision to scrap dualit, Murphy Richards (previous owned ones) - not spend so much - and get a good priced kettle that has a nice look. This looks like our old morphs Richards Scandi style kettle so opted for this in the white/wood. Best kettle I have ever used. Lovely lightweight feel to it. Very quick to boil. Quiet (or just as a kettle would sound) not too loud and not pointlessly quiet. The spout is lovely for pouring. Indicator for number of cups is accurate, clearly visible and very good to use (so you don’t end up boiling too much and wasting). It is plastic but who cares, it works. It doesn’t look cheap. It has a lovely design and so far so good. Many nice cups and tea and coffee have been consumed.

Looks good and heats up quickly, without too much noise. Very light when empty. Pleased with purchase. I know how well these last as I had an identical one before, until I knocked it off the surface!

Best kettle I've ever had (and I've had a few). Bought this after my old glass kettle shattered. The design is nice, the lid lift mechanism is really good and it boils very quickly. It pours really well without a drip and I can't get over how neat and light it is. Hard to believe it's the same capacity as my last one. I rinsed and boiled once before use and did not notice any plastic taste as some others mentioned.

Bought 2 of these and absolute rubbish. Neither sat very nicely on base. When the kettle boils the pressure means the kettle physically rocks around. After using one of the kettles for around 9 months it completely stopped working and i could see water inside the on switch. We'd bought the second kettle for our holiday property and it was still boxed when the other broke. As soon as we plugged that one in nothing happened at all. No lights, power, nothing. Complained via amazon but was referred direct to seller. They eventually sent 2 similar replacements but took 6 weeks of jumping through hoops! The new kettles are still very rocky on the base and would absolutely not recommend. Also a note to amazon - I've been a customer for donkeys years, probably ordering an item every day at least - you should have stepped in more quickly to resolve the issues.

Love this kettle. The colour looks awesome in my kitchen. Looks great with my matching toaster.
