I was a little hesitant when I saw reviews saying that the finish did not hold up. I have only had a few days but I wonder how the color would wipe off? Only time will tell. I have seen many wine placemats but they are usually dowdy. These are modern and striking looking. You cannot go into a store like a Bed Bath and get this updated of a look! And for $13 for 4 you cannot go wrong.
