I live at 5000 ft altitude and I was looking for something I could calibrate to sea level pressure and reads in inches Hg. My normal pressure is around 25.00 in Hg and this device allows you to adjust it up to the equivalent pressure at sea level, which is what is reported at airports and other locations around my location. Its very simple to do. You can also adjust the temperature if needed. Also, I only really wanted to see the barometric pressure which this device shows more clearly than the temperature and humidity. It also forecast the weather, but I don't really pay attention to that. The cost was also fair

It’s a good little gadget. The barometric pressure data is useful in finding patterns for chronic pain. It was a bit pricey for what it is, and I wish it had a backlight option so I could see the clock on my nightstand, but all and all I’m happy with this product.

Used for camping or at home. Seems to be reasonably accurate in every way. Easy on batteries as well.

I love this. It’s the smallest digital barometer I could find. Pocket sized, delivers accurate readings for barometer, weather prediction, temperature, and clock. But humidity is way off, as noted by others, and you can’t adjust it. Maybe it’s consistent though. Maybe you just have to do the math in your head every time, or just use it to monitor relative changes. So somewhat overpriced in terms of misrepresentation in the description. I love it anyway. Seems to perform most important functions very well

Easy adjustments

Temperature and barometric pressure were spot-on. No need to tweak the settings although you can do that.

Was an Army meteorologist. Having accurate barometric pressure is key to forecasting correctly. This device is off by at least 100mb!!! Barometric pressure is actually 1010mb and it is reading 909mb (standard surface pressure is 1013.25). The lowest barometric pressure EVER recorded was 870mb and this thing is reading only 40mb higher indicating we should be in a hurricane!!! It's 104° and sunny... Allowed 48hrs to stabilize and it hasn't changed by more than 5mb. Impossible to get any semblance of a forecast without correct pressure readings making this worthless. Temp is spot on and less than 0.5°F off official readings; however, you can buy a thermometer for about $5. Save your money. This is garbage. Amazon will not allow me to give less than 1 star. 0 stars.

Really cool looking gadget and easy to read. Problem is the temperature always shows at least 3 degrees higher than actual temperature. Keeps good time though. Pretty expensive for a clock only.
