Good reel for women/children, but still very strong
I'm a smaller girl so big reels are difficult for me to use. This one is smaller and super lightweight but still very strong. Smooth, doesn't get caught up or anything. I'm usually fishing in 100+ feet of water so I like that you can switch the gears to make the trip up a little quicker. I've reeled up big snapper, grouper, and big sharks and at full strength it don't budge. Worth the money. Performs just as good or better in my opinion then the larger Penn reels.

Nice addition to the Shimano lineup
This reel is well built and has the smooth feel of the more expensive Talica reel. This is a good choice for those wanting quality at a reasonable price. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Ok reel and a bit heavy
The construction is very nice and heavy duty, but it is quite heavy and smoothness is not as good as my other Shimano reels (Trinidad, Calcutta). It's functional and probably good for trolling, but I don't plan to use it for jigging or casting. For the price, I can't expect too much.
