A wonderful book for casual walkers -- I enjoy being out in the woods but am no longer able to handle "serious" hikes. Today I visited the Hopkinton Center Trail. The entry included accurate information about parking, length of the walk, how to get to the trail head, and a few notes about what to see. I can't wait to try some of her other easy walks.Illustrated with pictures and a sketch of the trail map (and instructions where to get a more detailed trail map if you need one.)

Fabulous book to take on local walks!  Make sure to buy the first book, too. The trails in this book are different but nearby to the trails in the first book. All are similar in difficulty, "Easy", and wonderful to do pretty much all year around.  I loved the "Thumbnails". Little pictures to help guide me (among other details) about where I can bring my dog and where I plan a walk with just my human friends. These two books must-haves, especially if you're new to the area or new to getting outside and enjoying our wonderful walking trails!
