Terrific Product and Simple to Use
Now I can tell when my chain needs replacement. I no longer have to rely on my bike shop to tell me. It takes less than 2 seconds to see whether your chain needs replacement. For 11 and 12 speed chains, replace after .5% wear. For 10 speed chains, replace after .75% wear. Just snap onto the upper or lower chain section and see where the opposite end winds up. The video provided is excellent.

I recently bought the Park CC4 chain wear indicator as it works on all bike chains including 12 speed chains. Super easy to use. Replacing your chain often is key to drive train maintenance. Much cheaper to replace a chain than cassettes and chain rings.

Quick and Easy to Use
It is a very simple but quick way to check your chain for wear. I bought it and checked my chain, it was just at the end of it's useful life. So I replaced it and the shifting is now perfect again. I checked the new chain with this tool and saw the difference - nice!
