I loved the fact that you get all three of today's video inputs, and the price was good too. Being that it was one of the cheapest devices of it's kind, I wasn't sure what to expect from the quality, but I have to say, the quality is excellent. I like the fact that you can use an SD card or flash drive, that way you don't have to unhook the device, to then take it to your computer to dump the footage off. You can also power it from a wall outlet or a USB slot. My TV has a USB slot, and so I can power it from my TV. If I turn the TV off, the unit shuts off. I guess the only odd thing about it, is for every 2gb of video that's recorded, it has to create a new video file. Not a big issue though. I can just rejoin the video segments with my video editor. It's a very cool unit, and I would recommend it to anyone! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Needs work *by L***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2015* First-the unit I received did NOT record in 1 file thru the HDMI or Component inputs. The recording from computer HDMI went well in it's multiple parts. Recording thru Component was mostly corrupt and the video quality, particularly in color and contrast was not that good.
