As a 22 year old, moving into her first apartment.. This set is a great bang for your buck.I do a lot of baking, and cooking. I feel like even the largest mixing bowl is not big/deep enough for me.... But I also make batches of 120 cookies at a time so? Probably perfect for you if you make "normal" amounts of things.The colander is just big enough to strain a 1lb box of pasta, with possibly a piece or two falling overboard. I feel this should be common sense, but just in case: if you dump something boiling into the colander.... It is metal and will be hot. Duh!The covers fit snug, almost airtight but not really. Honestly perfect to make a family salad and store in the fridge a couple days.The measuring cups are accurate, and cheaply made. I expected that, and they get the job done. I will probably replace them in 3 or 4 months with a better set. The plastic measuring part feels like it might fall off the metal handle if you play rough/throw them in the sink or have a tendency to drop things.Maybe it's because I haven't been around long enough on the planet to know, but I have no idea what these tiny prep bowls are for. They look like the kind people use in those recipe videos on Tasty/Social Media... They'd be perfect for that I guess but why dirty the extra bowl?Everything fits into eachother, and takes up minimal space in my shelf/cabinet.Also, there was a sticker on my box that said this thing cost $5 by "better homes &gardens"

I was pretty disappointed that I received the complete opposite of what the picture/description said.I thought the set was suppose to come with 3 mixing bowls with lids 4 prep bowls with lids 1 COLINDER and 8 measuring cups. Instead I received 3 mixing bowls with lids 4 prep bowls with lids a whisk and 4 measuring cups and 4 measuring spoons. The picture was very deceiving.

Great selection of items, but the lids don’t really fit the bowls- they’re a little bit too small. But I got this for the mixing bowls, so overall, I’m happy.

I just opened this. It’s already rusted. The rest looks nice.
