Perfect fit for Zoom H1N
Great fit for my Zoom H1N. There’s a small amount of extra space in the case for a microphone or batteries. I took out my batteries to stop them leaking kept long term. A lav mic & and cable fit but not with batteries as well. Other than that it’s a nice case & will protect from water, dust & light impacts.

Better than Zoom's own case
If you've got the H1 Essential, this is the case to buy to go with it. It is a really good fit, and the nylon shell material feels strong, hard-wearing, and gives excellent protection.

Ok case for H1n
I purchased this hard case for my Zoom H1n. The case is well made and sturdy. Whilst the H1n does fit in and I will use it for this, it's not a great fit and you can tell it was designed for the H1 which has a narrower design. The top of the H1n is very tight when put it into the case and you have to push it into the case for it to fit. To get the H1n out of the case you have to pull on the plastic protecting the microphone. Similarly the bottom of the H1n is pushing against the case. The overall fit is tight enough that the Zoom will not even fall out if I turn the case upside and shake it. There isn't much room in the top of the case. Room for a spare set of batteries and some ear buds. I put my foam pop shield in the top, above the mesh. If there was a case designed specifically for the H1n I would recommend that over this, but it does the job. Would probably be perfect for the Zoom H1.
