This product is truly excellent! It's also shelf stable for a long time and will make MANY servings. I follow a low-sodium diet, which often times means bland food and having to give up many of our favorite ingredients like gravies, sauces, etc., etc., etc. This has WAY less sodium than the 'lower sodium' versions of gravy mix you find in your local grocery or super stores, yet tastes even better. It comes together very quickly and easily on the stove w/maybe 5 minutes total effort. You simply put some water in a small saucepan and measure out however many tablespoons of the powdered gravy mix and whisk til it comes together and start to boil gently. For reference, I mixed 6 Tbsp of gravy mix to 1.5 cups water. Then you spoon or pour it over your protein and or starch and enjoy. That's it! It was fabulous over homemade lean ground beef Salisbury Steaks that I made, having stirred in a can of drained mushrooms once the gravy was done.

I try to avoid too much sodium when cooking and really like the fact that this is a low sodium product but still has plenty of flavor. I tend to use it to add some richer flavor and thicken up the gravy when I make a beef stew or when I make a pan gravy after cooking something like a London broil or a chopped steak. It does get thicker than other powdered gravy mixes so take that into account when using. I generally use around one measuring tablespoon and with it with between 1/2 and 2/3 measuring cup water and find that is sufficient and often augment it with a few drops of Worcestershire sauce and a splash of red wine if I have any.

A good low sodium gravy. I like brown gravy on my rice and this gravy is quick to prepare with no lumps and is tasty. I really love it.

To many brown type gravy have high sodium in the stores so I saw this company and wanted to try it. It really taste pretty good! Much lower in sodium than any other brands and has a very good taste to my mash cauliflower. I should have enough of this package for quick a while didn't realize how big the package is so I just made enough in a small jar to hold me until I need to mix up more. But I do recommend Trio Gravy Mix. And I only added water to it because I observe a Keto diet and watching calories. My taste buds does approved this and gives my meal some more favor. I hope this helps other people out in trying this.

I’ve been buying this gravy mix for over 9 years, and it’s still one of my favorites. I first started using it when I worked in the restaurant business, and I fell in love with it then. The ingredients work well together to give it a rich, flavorful taste without tasting overly processed. It has a nice smooth texture when prepared and comes out consistent every time. I also like that it has a good shelf life, so it’s easy to keep on hand in the pantry. If you’re looking for a gluten free option with great flavor, good texture, and solid value for the money, this one is hard to beat.

I use this all purpose gravy mix a lot. Can make a delicious wine sauce using any flavor meat drippings.

It's okay gravy mix. It does not dissolve well in water. Need to stir forever to get rid of the little lumps. It takes more than what I'm used to. May that's why it comes in a 1 pound bag? Still, the price can't be beat by that of the individual packets. I only ever use this as an addition, never by itself.
