Easy to read and fantastic material, for the would be Astromer.

Arrived as expected

I took an undergraduate Comparative Planetology class as a graduate student. The professor originally listed the graduate version of this book (Planetary Sciences) on the syllabus, and then changed his mind and had us buy this version instead. I already bought the grad version and read a bit of it, and I thought it was a lovely book. This is pretty much just a neutered version of that one. For an upper-level undergraduate course or graduate-level course, I would recommend Planetary Sciences instead. It's more detailed and the flow of the writing is better.
