Really accurate (used a certified commercial grade calibration weight)
These scales are secretly made by Mettler they may or may not share the same internals with some models. The weight I used is a certified 1lb weight for commercial grade calibration. It tested 1lb exactly and I believe it would have showed more accuracy if it did not round the grams the exact scientific 1lb conversion is 453.59237 grams the scale showed 454 which I can assume it rounded up. Will it hold the calibration only time will tell but as of now it’s extremely accurate.

Extremely accurate scale
I am a potter and have been making my own glazes for decades. I don’t know why it took so long for me to buy a digital scale but I am glad I did.

Nice unit
Purchased this balance for my kitchen because we also use Ohaus products in our larger laboratory. It is definitely accurate. I'm not sure I necessarily needed a balance of this quality in the kitchen, as there are cheap units that will do the same kitchen jobs. However, it not only does the job but looks great, too.

Inaccurate measurements
Make sure you buy a calibration weight set to check your balance! My measurements were completely inaccurate and didn't match known weights. Repeated measurements of the same weights gave completely different values each time, so it's not like the balance is precise but incorrectly calibrated with poor accuracy. OHAUS is usually a quality vendor but this product is completely unusable so I returned it immediately.

Great scale, the stacking feature is nice for storage
Scales work well for their target weight. The stacking feature is very nice. Appear to be accurate. Appear to keep their calibrations. Easy to use, easy to calibrate if you follow the directions.
