Mini Washer Review & Tips
Thank you for this tiny mighty washer ! It is automatic wash ,soak, rinse, spin. It does the job. Easy set-up. Came with faucet adapter so I setup and washed right away. The instructions are aren't that clear. So I did my own trial & error. figured some things out. It has preset wash cycles. The booklet talks about selecting minutes for wash, rinse, spin. and I guess you can do manual mode. But I haven't figured that out. So I select the wash cycle, then I select the wash load, then I press start/pause button. In the Rapid cycle it goes thru each mode wash, rinse, spin quickly. In the Normal mode, it is different and you will think the washer has quit working. Today I decided to use the Normal Cycle. I watched the timer to see how that cycle operates. Normal Cycle runs for 31 minutes. after it fills with water it begins to wash. Will wash for 3 minutes then it stops. It will soak for 3 minutes. the begins washing again. Then it stops and soaks again 3 minutes. Then it begins washing again. So the 31 minutes is broken up into 3 minute increments between wash, soak, wash, soak, rinse, spin, rinse, spin. I wanted to figure it out so I let the machine operator and do its own thing. I don't think the booklet explains that. And if you didn't let it run the cycle you would think that the machine is not working. The machine agitation is a swish swish back and forth, then when it gets ready to drain it will slowly agitate and chug chug the draining begins and then the spin. The spin is really fast and the clothes are ready for the dryer. So the Wash cycles are wash & soak cycles so if the machine stops it is soaking. It is recommended to use dry powder laundry detergent. It is more efficient and I am guessing will create less suds so the machine wont overflow with bubbles. This is a Mini Washer not a Maytag. So for small loads it is great ! I really like it. I know this is a long review but the hints will help running the washer. Also when you turn on the water, make sure the washer is powered on so the water can go into the machine or it will leak out at the water intake hose to washer. And make sure the drain hose is in the sink before turning it on or water will run out on the floor. This mini washer will also self adjust if it needs more water in the wash cycle. In the normal cycle it began washing then stopped to add more water. I am guessing that once the load was wet the machine knew it needed more water. So basically let the mini washer to the work. Run its cycle. I know the control panel says manual mode for the wash,rinse,spin/ the booklet says you can manually select minutes for each but I haven't figured it out. Says to press each button continually . I don't do that. I just hook up water. Press power on. Then I select the wash cycle, then I select the wash load size, the I press the start/pause button and it begins to wash. I know this is a long review but the hints will help in operation of the washer. I have washed 2 pr. jeans, 4 tops in a load. 3 bath towels, wash cloths, dish towels, dish cloths in a load. I have washed a small fleece blanket in it. It will hold a small laundry basket of items. Don't overload it. If you have small laundry needs it is great. It does the job but the hints will help. I love it that I don't have to go down in the basement to wash ( my old washer quit) and I could have gotten a full size washer but couldn't spend the money right now. SO this Mini Washer is a lifesaver. It is functional & a sturdy mini machine. Thank You ! Just wanted to add this note, I bought the washer in 2019 and I am still using it in 2023 and it is still working great !

Works very well
I've been using this washing machine for a few weeks now and it works very well. The adapter provided fit with my kitchen sink, so I didn't need any additional products to connect to my sink. It does a decent amount of laundry at once, but obviously not as much as a normal washing machine. For an idea of how much it holds, I just did a wash with 6 t-shirts, a full length pair of yoga pants, and several pairs of underwear and socks. I was surprised by how quiet this thing is during the spin cycle. I was expecting it to make a lot of noise, but it is usually so quiet, I can only hear the sound of the water pump in the back sucking out water, not the sound of the drum spinning (I put in a video of the washer during the spin dry cycle). The one exception to this was when I put too much laundry in at once, then it was a bit loud (about as loud as previous full size washing machines that I've had). One thing to watch out for, if you stow it away in between uses, is that water might stay in the drain pipe while the pipe is above the level of the bottom of the machine, until the drain pipe falls down, then it will spill a decent amount of water on the floor. What I've start doing is when I'm done with the machine, I grab a bucket and let the pipe drain into there before I put it away. Overall, I would highly recommend this washing machine. It is fully automatic, so you can just throw your clothes and detergent in, turn the faucet on, hit start, and wait until it finishes, so it is very convenient. It's small, so for me, I was able to fit it right under my kitchen counter, but still does a decent amount of laundry at once.

Very convenient, full of features and great performance.
I moved into a small apartment and for the first time I cannot have my own washer and dryer. Looking for alternatives to avoid using the shared laundry rooms, I found this compact washer and I can’t be happier with my purchase! At first I was not sure if this machine would do the job but although it is small, it is powerful. The wash cycles range from gentle, heavy, normal, rapid and soak and the load choices are load sizes are small, medium and large. A large load can take about three changes of clothes; I have washed three pairs of pants, three shirts, socks and a t-shirt. It will not fit more than a couple of sheets and two pillow cases at the same time, and definitely not a bed spread, but for clothing it is perfect. Out of the box it is easy to assemble and it is effortless to connect it to my bathroom sink. I purchased a small furniture dolly which I use to move the washer from my kitchen to the bathroom, but the washer has two small rear rollers that are enough to move the unit for shorter distances. One of the best features of this washer is that you do not have to fill it with water between cycles, it does it alone. All it needs is to be connected to the faucet and the machine does it all. It has a small filter that captures lint and is easily removable for cleaning. It also has a drain in the lower back side to empty any residual water after use. The washer has a pump that drains water during the spin cycle so there is no need to drain it on a tub or bucket, it easily empties directly into my bathroom sink and I don’t have to worry about checking it between cycles. The spin cycle is powerful, so I recommend using a garment bag for delicates, but once the cycle is finished, clothes are practically dry. It takes only A few hours to air dry and in warm weather, it takes only about an hour or two and all my clothes are ready for the closet. In fact, I had planned on buying a compact dryer but decided not to once I saw how well this machine performs. I have been using this washer for over six months, twice a week and it continues to work perfectly. It is a great little washer with features similar to larger units at a fraction of the cost and no profesional installation required.

Cleans as well as normal sized machines*
Great machine after 2½ years. No regrets. Gets clothes every bit as clean as a normal sized washer with ONE CAVEAT-- It is very "rough" on your clothes in ALL but the Gentle cycle. For example, if you put socks in the Normal cycle, they will be super clean,. but most likely they will be "stretched out". I chalk this up to the fact that a certain level of agitation is needed at a certain rpm in order to effectively clean clothes, and since these machines are much smaller than normal washers, that translates to a more "violent" movement of the clothes inside, whereas on a bigger machine with more area, the clothes aren't experiencing as much centripetal force. I also assume that ALL the "small" machines like this do the same thing, if they are to clean effectively. SO, unless I am washing thick, sturdy (perhaps new) jeans, I wash pretty much everything on Gentle, and that does a perfect job. That goes for sheets, towels, everything. It goes without saying that I would NOT NOT NOT put anything truly delicate in this machine ever, and opt to hand wash those. All this means every load takes 52 minutes, as opposed to 41 minutes for the normal cycle. The rapid cycle is also great if washing things I don't care about, like rags or whatever. 17 minutes IIRC. Maximum capacity: Two pairs jeans, two long sleeve cold-weather shirts, two pairs underwear & socks.

Washes clothes well. Compact. Impressive piece of engineering.
I live in a condo unit in a building with paid washers in the basement. The units are converted apartments. There's nowhere to put a full size washer. The paid washers in the basement are not that expensive, but do a horrible job. I watched one of the paid washers one day. It agitates the clothes in a wash cycle, then spin drains. You would think that a rinse cycle consists of filling the washer completely, agitating some more then a final rinse. No no nooo. After the initial drain spin, my clothes are stuck along the walls of the machine. The machine shpritzed some water on my clothes, then the machine spun for a minute or so...then shpritzed a little more, and spun a little more...then end of cycle. yuk. I've had my Homelabs little washer for over a year now, and it still performs like the day I got it. I always wait a year before leaving a good review. This washer is the real deal. It's a real washer. I have it set for 2 rinse cycles, and that second rinse cycle...the water comes out clean. Just a few tips....don't over fill. You don't want to impede the agitation. You'll know after using it a few times what you can put in. You can throw a bunch of socks and underwear in one load. But if you're washing towels...maybe a bath towel and a smaller towel. You just gotta be patient...but it's worth it. Just realize what a great job it does. I hang dry everything. I got a Whitmor Clip and Drip Hanger - Hanging Drying Rack - 26 Clips, which I bought on Amazon also. I removed my kitchen faucet aerator and screwed in the quick connect adaptor, that comes with the unit. That adaptor stays there permanently. The washer has a couple roller feet, but there's indents on the sides to pick it up...it's not heavy...and place it in position in front of the sink to wash. The hose quick connector goes on easily. You don't want to risk the drain faucet falling out of the sink. The drain faucet comes with a hook on it. As you can see in the picture, I took an old shoe lace and rigged it to hold the drain hose firmly in place. And you have to use powder detergent. It says so in the directions. And don't overdo it on the detergent. I'll wrap this up by saying that I love this washer. It's an impressive piece of engineering. For a reasonable price you're getting a REAL washer that does a great job. It's just small, that's all.

Nice, but beware learning curve!
I bought this when my LG gave out and I was waiting for a repair estimate. The laundromat isn't cheap either, so I figured I might as well put my money towards something I get to keep. This does get clothes really clean! First load, I accidentally brushed up against the water outlet hose and it came out of the sink, gushing water all over the floor, causing concern for electric shock. They're not kidding when they say to keep kids and pets away from it. Water comes out of the hose fast and powerful, so beware. Secure the hose with maybe a little velcro band, to something nearby so it doesn't fly out and cause you all kinds of misery. Don't oversoap (uses powder only), don't overload, and stay close by. I would describe the capacity of this thing as small emergency loads. Perfect for a college student any time, can keep a family going for a little while, but not much more. I put 2 large bath towels and a few washclothes (what I used to mop up the water on the floor) and I felt like that was pushing it in terms of capacity. But they were wet and heavy. It was easy enough to put together and very easy to level. All in all, a good quality product in terms of the wash basket and the settings available. The sides are plastic which I wasn't too keen about, but it is portable. It's powerful and relatively quiet. Also perfect to wash delicates, separates, etc while the large machine is doing more demanding loads. However, if you're going to use it in that way, it does take a little work to set it up and drain it when you're done. In all honesty, at some point I will probably decide that is too much work to do regularly when I have a working machine, and put it away until the next emergency. But I'm definitely not going to return it either! I think it can also help you stay caught up on laundry, if you have a machine that runs long cycles.

Not happy
You have to assemble it. The bottom cover did not fit properly, things were not aligned, I had to force it in order to be able to screw it in. The feeling was like it was made for a slightly different model. I was not able to level the machine, I turned the level wheel to the very end but it was not enough. I had to put a folded paper towel under that wheel. They should have had a soft rubber pad under the level wheel to help with levelling and vibration. All water hoses are very short. The washing machine has to be placed right next to the sink blocking access to it. There is no way to regulate the temperature like jeans should be washed in the cold water only while dirty shirts require higher temperature. You can't program the temperature, only wash time and load size, that's it. Faucet adaptor leaks all over wasting a lot of water, it's around a gallon per minute. There is no release water button in the faucet adaptor, when you pause and try to unplug the faucet adaptor, water under pressure shoots right into your face. If water flow is somewhat slow also because of the water loss due to a leaking adaptor, you get an error and water intake stops. You have to open and close the lid so water would start flowing again. It's completely made out of plastic. Day 2 of use: laundry is all soaked in water after spinning, there is water left at the bottom of the machine. Water doesn't get removed by spinning anymore. There is no separate spinning cycle. You have to start washing it all over again if you want just to spin it better. There is no separate rinsing cycle. Just have to wash it again with no soap. Update. It stopped working in a year. This is just a bad brand.

You can add water manually
For those of you who don’t have the proper faucet for the intake hose, neither do I. You can fill this unit manually. I filled mine with my pull out shower head. Once it drained after the wash cycle, I filled it again, and it washed beautifully. It has a very good capacity. In the first load, I washed my Queen flat and fitted sheet, and a few hand towels. They came out very clean. In the second load, I washed my Queen size comforter. It is fairly light. I suggest keeping the drain hose clipped to the unit but closed by the shower door in your tub to keep it in place. The drain hose is fairly thin, but, if your drainage is close, it is not a problem. The water intake valve is substantial, but, again, I cannot use it just because I have a pull out shower and pull out faucet in the kitchen, too, but for those of you who can use it, it is high quality. There are three levels of wash: heavy, normal and light. That is enough for me. It is quiet. The clothes come out almost dry, and the unit is light enough to carry without buying a dolly. I am very happy with this purchase after my last purchase of a cheaper model where you have to move the clothes from the wash basin to the spin basin. That is basically a toy. It lasted a year. You had to spin the clothes in three or four batches because the spin basin is so much smaller. It would spin in a lopsided manner, and eventually, small clothes spun out, and landed between the unit and the spin barrel, and the whole unit broke. This model was only $60 more than that with all in one. Spend the money, and invest in this model. (Photos included). Mine lasted almost five years then it started leaking. I replaced it with another similar model from Black and Decker immediately. Five years was plenty for me. I still consider it and excellent investment in not having to go to the laundromat or my condominium’s laundry facility, and watch my clothes for hours so they get stolen. If this wasn’t currently unavailable, I would have bought it again.
