I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. She couldn't wait to get into the puzzles. It has good sections of Ordnance survey maps and questions that allows everyone to join in. Would recommend, will also help people know more about the country.

Good for all ages. The difficulty rating on each means there’s something for everything. Great practice for newbies to map read and great fun for map lovers.

Bought as a present for someone. They found it compulsive fun and a good way to get into reading maps but some of the questions were a bit hard, you might need a ruler. Questions come in four levels of difficulty for each map but we're not sure that the hardest questions are necessarily in the hardest category.

Reasonably priced giving hours of pleasure puzzle book.

Husband is enjoying a change from the standard crossword puzzle book. The questions have four sections from easy to hard, so one could just do the easier ones, until you have more time to do the more challenging ones. Would definitely recommend.

There are now a few puzzle books of this kind around. This one didn’t disappoint and I found it enjoyable to escape for a half hour or so and exercise my brain.

Almost kept it myself, great gift

Okay, but not what was completely expected in terms of content

I love maps and The Ordnance Survey makes the best maps in the world. I wish we had such a service in the US. I also love the Isles in general and am madly jealous of the 'right to roam' over there along with the vast network of ancient tracks and paths that Ordnance Survey has mapped in stunning detail. Also, British place names are just the best. So this book allows me to wander those paths and city and village streets from the comfort of wherever I happen to be in the moment. The maps are taken from all eras and the puzzles aren't tough enough to make you give up, but do provide enough challenge to keep you engaged. This book also keeps me from staring at my phone too much which, especially lately with all of the really depressing stuff going on, is really good for my mental health. P.S. Most folks with decent eyesight won't need a magnifying lens, but it helps my not so great eyes and I think always enhances a map experience.
