Use something to limit the space where it is sprayed, or you will end up like other 1 star reviewers. All of those people should've given it a 5 star for it's effectiveness. We are using it for something it was not designed for, but it works great with proper care. I personally use a larger straw that the red applicator goes into and I hold the straw very firm, hard and close to the skin so the 134 coolant doesn't spread to other areas of the skin. I only pull the trigger a couple, or few times to get enough 134 fluid on the skin tag. It turns red with in hours, black within days and skin is cleared up where I can't even tell I had one after about 2 months. I hope this helps.
