I'm using as instructions say to use, brilliant at cleaning the grilles. It's the best bbq rung/grate cleaner I've had .

If you have proper cast iron grill grates and want to avoid using traditional wire cleaners then I recommend this product. The wires are wound in a circular pattern which avoids the abrasiveness found with standard wired brushes. Just remember to keep to wetting the brush regularly while cleaning and angle the brush left or right to find the best contact point for your grill shape. It feels substantial and well made.

There are a lot of mixed reviews regarding this brush and I think it is due to the fact that a lot of people try to use it like a regular bristle brush. Unlike bristle brushes where you simply scrub the food/carbon stuck to the grill off and let the hard abrasive bristles do the work, the Kona Safe/Clean brush needs to be used with water. You need a shallow dish of water and you dip the brush into the water and then rub the wetted brush onto the hot grill using both hands (the brush handle is extra long and sturdy to make this easier than it sounds) to apply pressure as you scrub. You'l see steam immediately as the water dissolves the dirt and the scrubbing removes it. Kona has some videos online if you need more clarification. The pros are that it cleans more deeply (though it is harder to get into the nooks and crannies) and is safer than the bristle brush which after a season starts to shed its metal bristles (very dangerous - imagine some of those bristles staying on the grill and ending up in your food!), and cons is that it requires you to have water handy and takes a bit longer and a little more elbow grease. For the safety feature alone, I don't mind the few seconds extra work, it is well worth it. I highly recommend this product but do use water or it will not do the job.

I will have to give it a 5 as my Husband thinks it's the best thing I have ever bought him.. ( what a cheek.. Just bought him a £600 Insta camera..!) . He loves his new tool doesn't take long to clean the grill although doesn't use it as per instruction....he is a happy man..

This brush struggles to get even warm food remains off - it's total garbage and a complete waste of money! buy some, anything else

This is the best grill brush i've used so far. It's different in how the scrubbing portion is made to reduce the issue of bristles breaking off and potentially getting into food. Make sure you read the instructions and watch the video that shows how to use it. Basically the manufacturer recommends that you use water with it and dip the brush in water before scrubbing. it is far more effective when you do this and it keeps the brush cleaner as well. the brush is sturdy and seems to be made very well.

Funkar som förväntat, ett måste att använda med vatten precis som dom säger. Blir riktigt rent och gallret känns renare. Lite svårare att komma åt små veck men det spelar ingen roll för mig iallafall. Viktigast är att man inte får små flisor av metall i maten som man kan få med vanliga grillborstar.
