Duxtop Whole-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Induction Cookware Set, 14PC Kitchen Pots and Pans Set

What can I say? These pots are beautiful. I thought that they might be a bit heavy for my wife, but they're fine and feel durable, and I love the shine of brand new stainless steel pots! We have an electric stove, but we bought this set to use with our new Duxtop induction burner, which we love for its speed of heating and accuracy of temperature. One day, we intend to replace our stove with one that has a full compliment of induction burners. So far, we've cooked a few dishes like scrambled eggs, which I cooked in one of the skillets. They were perfect! The amazing heat distribution along with the accurate temperature control of the induction burner makes cooking a breeze. We also boiled 7 minute eggs. These eggs are supposed to be a little runny inside when you break them open with a spoon. The results were perfect, and much easier to reproduce with our Duxtop induction burner. The combination really is a must! We also used the big pot with the steamer compartment to steam artichokes 59 minutes. Again, the results were perfect! We haven't used every pot yet, but we look forward to using them as well. The pots are excellent so are worth every penny.

I deliberately waited to do this review until I had actually cooked with this cookware, and I have to say I was not disappointed. I have always cooked with stainless steel, but supplementing it with some ceramic non-toxic non-stick fry pans for eggs and omelets and such, as I prefer non-toxic stainless steel cookware for most of my cooking. However, previous to purchasing this Duxtop cookware set, non of my stainless steel pans were Tri-Ply with an aluminum center core, and I have to say that cooking with Tri-Ply stainless is definitely a treat and a big step up from cooking with regular stainless steel. I decided that I should try an omelet in one of the fry pans, and so I educated myself as to how to cook with stainless steel and make it non-stick. The trick is to fully preheat the pan on a low temperature, then add the oil, and then add the scrambled eggs. Also one needs to fully let the eggs set before attempting to flip the omelet. And it worked. No more non-stick pans for my omelets! Next I tried a salute with chicken cutlets using the same principles as above, and again, virtually no sticking to the pan. When adding the frozen veggies after sautéing the chicken, I simply added a bit more oil, upped the heat a little, sautéd for a few minutes more, then added a tablespoon or so of water, covered the pan and steamed the veggies a few more minutes to perfection. Clean up was pretty easy with soap and water, a bit a cream of tartar, and the type of easy scrubbing pad used for non-stick cookware. No scouring was necessary. However I do keep Barkeepers Friend around if necessary. Also I have to say that this set is very well made! High quality with thick walls and bottoms, handles that are rounded to hold easily, and riveted to the pans. I expect that this cookware set will last me the rest of my life and I will be able to cook on any cooking surface no matter where I might be: electric, electric rings, halogen, glass ceramic, induction, and gas (although I stay away from gas for health reasons. If you want a well-made high quality cookware set at a great price, without having to worry about bits of toxic non-stick coatings getting into your food, I highly recommended this Duxtop Whole-clad Try-Ply stainless steel cookware.

I really like these pots and pans! I think the price is good for what you are getting. This is an adequate set for any cook. I almost took away 1 star because of the staining and spots in the bottom of these after use. They look crummy, but cook very well so I kept the 5 stars! I wanted true tri-ply and presume these are. I believe the quality to be up there and for the price ..........yes!!! I like that the lids are also stainless, but as someone else pointed out, they are not stackable. I haven't used the potholders yet, but they are a nice bonus with this set. The steamer basket is the only thing that seems flimsy or a little too lightweight, but it works well. I steam a lot of broccoli, etc, and I have no issues with the basket. I just wish it had a little more weight to it. Pros: Price point ---good for what you get Nice set ---adequate for most novice cooks out there Weight --- good Handles --- nice feel Cons: Steamer basket feels cheap --- very thin/lightweight Staining ---- looks really bad (I'm too lazy to take a lot of time polishing) I definitely recommend these pots to anyone not wanting to spend a fortune, but wanting a tri-ply set of pots and pans. This is a great choice for a basic, quality set of cookware. Happy hunting. I had to replace my old cookware set as I moved from electric to an induction cooktop. Based on the reviews of this Duxtop set, I ordered it and have been generally pleased. I am new to induction cooking, so it may not be due to these pots specifically, but I have noticed some occasional buzzing and clicking when in Pb mode upon initial heating. Normal setting heating seems fine. I did season the cookware using a simple method I saw on a posted video, and it seems to minimize any sticking--including eggs. I have noticed spots at the bottom of pots after boiling water, but it may be due to hard water than to anything specific to this cookware. Overall, I would recommend this product given the price I paid and its performance to date. Unfortunately, it does not appear that Duxtop sells any matching additional pieces I use for cooking as well. Accordingly, I had to locate other induction pieces to replace my old 4 qt. dutch oven, 12" frying pan with lid, griddle, and teapot.

Son de muy buen material, se sienten gruesas pero no tan pesadas. El único punto negativo que veo es que las tapas no quedan justas y en la cocción de los alimentos se mueven mucho

This pot set is great and cooks food perfectly. I had an issue where the 10 inch pan got warped on one side. I reached out to the customer support team and they had it sorted in a matter of days and I had a new pan at my door. Super!

Overall, a decent set of pots. We use ours daily. Only issue is that one of our frying pans warped and won't sit flush on the stove anymore.

Use these on an induction stove - it is AMAZING how quick water will boil in these pots. Dont waste your money on pots that only have the bottom done, these pots have the correct metal all thru them. Minus a star as one has spots on the inside bottom that refuse to come clean. Frankly, I dont care since nothing I have ever owned will boil water as fast as this set of pots!
