Here's what I have been able to work out:The board comes with a strain gauge pre-soldered. Just glue it to a surface with superglue.It uses an LM358 which is a cheap and noisy op-amp, not a proper low noise load cell amp.The strain gauge is wired in a quarter-bridge configuration with 3x 360 ohm resistors. Since the gauge resistance is 350 ohms that's a huge imbalance. The pot on the board is for zeroing out the voltage offset - it allows you to set the output at zero strain to somewhere within the op-amp's working range (0 - 3V).
