Great drill bits for thin sheet metal, cuts very quickly & neatly. Recommended

I bought this with limited DIY knowledge to cut through the back of some powder coated steel IKEA cabinets in order to pass plugs through. This cut through with ease and requiring little pressure and not a fancy drill. It’s the perfect size hole to manoeuvre a plug through and worked perfectly.

Brilliant product and service

This is 11/10 for plastics, but using these for Gypsum or other metals you’ll find the teeth missing since it’s a thinner alloy than normal combi starett bits.The pop out mechanism works wonders, it’s quick and you never have to pick out old cut outs.Like the title says: 11/10 for plastics 7/10 for metals.

Quality as always

Not used these "quality" tools before but actually rather good cutting - used to produce really clean cut holes in perspex sheet - even thin sheet was cut clean with no cracking.

Starrett. Names says it all, best wholesaws, best jigsaw blades just wish they did a full on on carbide metal blade for my recip saw.

Works well but after a few holes the spring wears out or falls off.Bit disappointed really as the brand is known as most sparks will ask for a “Starret cutter”But for the time they save compared to a normal hole saw there worth the price for a few holes on a couple of jobs

Keiner meiner Bohrer (auch kein neuer Bosch-Metall-Bohrer) hat ein halbwegs sinnvolles Löchlein in die Edelstahl-Spüle gebracht (auch nicht unter ordentlichem Druck). Mir schwante schon übelster Frust.Aber mit dieser Lochkreissäge war das Problem innerhalb weniger Sekunden astrein und ohne jede Kraftanstrengung gelöst.Einfach nur perfekt.Allerdings kann ich keine Aussage dazu machen, wie viele Löcher sich auf diese Weise bohren lassen, denn ich brauchte sie nur für diese eine Bohrung. Aber das Geld war sie wert. Ich hätte nicht gewusst, wie ich sonst ein anständiges Loch in meinen Spüleinsatz bekomme.
