Portable and works well
If you have realistic expectations you will be happy with this. It is about the size of a notebook so will not charge as fast as some multi-panel options, but in bright sunlight it was fast charging my phone. Best used by charging a powerbank throughout the day and then using that to charge your device.

Zero G solar charger
This is one of the best mini solar chargers I have ever used! It is easily stored, carried, and used. If there were a drawback, I would say buyers need to know there is no battery bank with this charger. Hence, it will only work with light. This is a solar panel, and it workโs extremely well. I find it to be durable and useful.

works great in direct sun
I took this camping in the Himalayan foothills, which is mostly sunny this time of year, and it charged nicely when I left it outside my tent all day. However, when I tried charging it at home on my deck, it didn't charge as well, I think because the sun was less direct. It did charge, just not fully. Overall, I am happy with this lightweight and super easy to use solar charger, although know that you must buy the powerbank separately, and that is what it charges, not any devices.

Perfect for limited power options while traveling
This item is perfect. I'll be leaving for a trip with no electricity hook ups, but I read on my tablet. This item was my first choice. Goal Zero is a reliable brand, and this item works perfectly. I tested this yesterday, and it evens charges with a little overcast. Granted, it's gonna be slow. This is a small solar panel. Testing on my S22 Ultra at 95% on a sunny day with an overcast, the device estimated around 40 minutes to charge the last 5%. This is a $60 dollar item, so the price is worth what it can do.

Slow Charger
Takes a very sunny day and many hours to charge larger battery.

Love how this solar works!
It's not the lightest but it's light enough and a lot lighter than the previous solar charging panel I had. I was pleasantly surprised to know that I could plug my small GoalZero power bank right into the back and hike while I charged it. My friend has one too which is why I know this works plus it's durable and easy to attach to my backpack.

Wonโt charge iPhone.
Does NOT charge an iPhone. Get yourself a Guide/Nomad 10 instead. You need a 10-20W solar rig for charging most phones.

Useful backup for trickle charging
I purchased this to have a self sufficient power source when thru-hiking as it's about the lightest decent panel around and personally I like it. It works adequately for my use as I generally turn my phone off when I'm outdoors and rarely resort to GPS, but the power output is limited and others need to manage their expectations. I can't see you ever getting 5W out of this after testing with an inline USB multimeter. Even midday in the UK when it was clear sky and 35C (heatwave) I could only get 3.55W (0.7467A @4.761V). A couple of weeks later not as hot but sunny with a clear blue sky at 3pm I could only get 1.5W (0.3309A @4.505V). You really can only use this to trickle charge a power bank during the day and then use that to top up a device at night. If you are a heavy electroncs user this isn't for you and if you connect a phone directly to it you will be disappointed.

Drains Power Instead Of Generating Power. Useless.
I had the solar panel in direct sunlight for a full day and tried using it to charge my phone. The phone registered that it was connected and the charging icon showed, but the battery level went down. I have had the same result with every device I've plugged into the panel. I'd be interested to hear from the people who have submitted 5 star reviews, on how they've managed to get any use out of it.
