Total bang for your buck
We have a huge toy story fan in our house but of course all these dolls can really add up when you get the full size versions. In comes Imaginext to the rescue lol small enough for our toddlers hands and really good quality! Plus you get a bunch of the characters in take along size (although they can get lost easily).

Good quality 2 inch action figures
Good quality characters after the first month. Our 3 year old plays with scores of 2 inch figures like these, but this set seems to have higher quality than most (and we didn’t have Jessie or Rex yet). Great for Toy Story fans!

Used this as a cake topper for my 5 year old. It was a hit. Perfect for playing too.

Get something larger
These are small and not the most durable. My 4 year old played with them for the first day and went back to his larger versions. Hasn't touched them since.

I matrix toys are amazing figures for ages 3-9 my son and nephew will play with them for hours one is 5 and the other is 9!
