heats up fast and handles every job I threw at it
Used this to strip some old paint and remove vinyl decals from my car and it handled both jobs without breaking a sweat. The two temperature settings actually make a real difference since some materials need more heat than others and being able to dial it in is super convenient. It's lightweight so your arm doesn't get tired holding it for extended sessions which I didn't think would matter until it did. Great tool to have around and honestly a must own for anyone who does any kind of DIY projects.

Reliable Heat Gun for Versatile Applications
solid tool for various household and DIY tasks. With two temperature settings (750ยฐF and 1000ยฐF), it offers flexibility for projects like paint stripping, thawing pipes, and shrink wrapping. The heat gun is lightweight and comfortable to handle, making it easy to use for extended periods. The dual temperature settings are convenient, allowing you to adjust based on the task's requirements. The gun heats up quickly, and the focused airflow ensures precise application. While it's durable and efficient, it would be great if it came with additional nozzles or accessories for even more versatility. Overall, this is an excellent heat gun for both beginners and experienced users, offering reliable performance at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for home improvement and craft projects!

Perfect for craft useโremoves labels and sets glue fast
I use this Wagner heat gun for craftingโnot paint strippingโand itโs become one of my go-to tools in the kitchen corner of my craft setup. Itโs great for removing sticky labels and old glue, and I also use it to speed up glue setting when I need things to stay put fast. It heats quickly, and the low setting is gentle enough for delicate surfaces while still effective. The high setting cuts through tougher adhesives without scorching. Itโs lightweight, easy to aim, and fits comfortably in the hand. As a kitchen crafter, compact tools are keyโthis one stores easily and doesnโt hog space on the counter. The cord length is generous, and cleanup is no issue. If youโre crafting in tight spaces or just want a reliable heat gun for label removal and glue work, this one does the job.

Good Heat Gun for the Casual User
I've used this gun for over three months now on various projects including: Marine heat shrink wrap when I rewired a buddies boat and added a few 9V outlets to a travel trailer. Stripping paint off of an old door that would not be removed using chemical strippers. Reshaping PVC pipe (3/4") because I wanted to avoid fittings while getting around a 30 degree corner. Heating a seized bolt on the truck after my MAP torch was out of gas (this worked great BTW). Removing the residue from a decal when I discovered I was out of acetone. In all the gun works great, two settings High and Low, high is very hot so keep the gun moving. It's very light which gives it somewhat of a cheap fee, the switch is fine, could be better, could be worse. The handle could be more ergonomic but I picked it up on a lightenting deal at a ridiculously low price so I won't deduct a star. I'm not sure I would buy this if I was using it for commercial or industrial use, it is great for around the house. It's made of impact resistant plastic and I've dropped it once from three feet, it survived with no damage. Unit has a hook to hang it while it's on and use it because if you set this gun down on a table or some other surface that doesn't like heat you will scorch that surface and possibly start a fire.

Well built & works great!
Got this Wagner HT1000 Heat Gun recently, and have already used it to heat/shrink several feet of 1 1/2 inch heavy-duty shrink tubing. The heat gun seems well made and sturdy (especially for being so inexpensive). It has 2 settings: low/750 degrees and high/1,000 degrees F. I mostly used the low setting--that setting is quiet (the fan is quiet) and the heat output is consistent (low is Wagner's recommended setting for shrink tubing and shrink wrap). The owner's manual has some good tips on scraping paint, and using the heat gun on other projects. Also, read the safety info--surfaces, especially metal, can retain heat for several minutes--I used regular cotton work gloves, and could feel the surface heat for some time after applying the heat gun (on low setting). The HT 1000 is the heat gun only--no accessories. If you're going to remove paint or window putty, you may want/need some gun tips/tools that are sold separately, or with the HT 1000 "kit" (that kit includes the heat gun and 3 various tips). Though I've only had this heat gun for a short time, I'm very happy with its performance--it's a good value.

Good gun for the price
Used to remove aged and deteriorated boat number decals. Worked great. I will have other uses yet. Nice gun, two heat settings are important for different needs.

110-120v product
The product looks really of good quality. But, I think this heat gun is not meant for gulf countries. It operates on 110-120v. I believe it should be 220-240v for the gulf countries. I had to return my order. If they have a 220-240v version I would re-order.

Great little tool!
This heat gun lives on my bench. I repair EVERYTHING! from woodwork, metalwork, plastics, etc and this tool is indispensible. When my old one died, i purchased this to replace it. It is lesser power than my old one, but that is not a bad thing in that it doesn't tend to melt plastic and other delicate items so easily. It softens adhesives (Say for removing labels, XC ski baskets,..) increases penetration of solvents (stuck bolts), warms up epoxy resins prior to mixing, and many other common jobs around the shop. Good purchase.
