My first order came with the teeth falling off or broken off all the paddles. Could have happened from shipping but I got a replacement 2 days later and it seems just fine. Study and the handle is exactly what my sister wanted as she is a hair stylist.

Maybe you are a hairdresser. If so, I’m sure these will be great. I am not. Since we’re in quarantine, I thought I would give balayage a shot because my attempt to highlight left me with some brassier roots than I wanted. Besides, I figured I would be in disguise (PPE) anyway. I was thinking (naively) this set would come with instructions. It did not. So, there they sit under my sink. I can’t find a YouTube guide for them yet. If I do, and end up having a chance to actually use this set, I will update my review.

Great for highlights

I already have some paddles for highlighting and balayage, but they do not have the teeth on them. Lately I have been using the teasing method for a seamless blend and these work perfectly for holding the teased hair out of the way as I apply lightener or color. The various sizes make it easy to use them on any client. They are not flimsy and are comfortable to hold. I did not use they brush that comes with this set, as I already have brushes that I love to use.
