Great product, Easy to put on my G3 Glock 26 without expensive tools and just the right amount of nighttime brightness.
Very Happy with this purchase! First off let me point out that the earlier reviews of these sights complain of the front screw being to long or otherwise for the gen 4 Glocks. Mine came with the proper screws for both the Gen3 and Gen4 use. The front sight fits slightly loose in the slide slot just as it should so you can make adjustments for proper alignment. I set mine straight with a small straight edge/ruler laying up against it and down the length of the slide BEFORE I put the rear sight on and it was very easy to line it up properly. The stock front sight screw was set further forward in the slide making use of a socket on the screw to remove it impossible because there was zero room between the front edges of the screw/bolt and the front of the slide. However, since the stock front sight is made of plastic the bolt is not really all that tight and I used a small set of needle nosed pliers to get mine loose with little trouble. The Truglo front sight has it's mounting bolt set back further towards the rear of the slide slot making use of a socket to tighten the bolt with my standard Craftsman 3/16" socket doable. Coat the cleaned bottom of the front sight with Loctite making sure you do not get any in the bolt hole and set the sight onto the slide. The bolt only needs the very smallest little dab of Loctite on the tip of the screw before inserting it. To much and it will never come out without breaking it. Snug the bolt slightly then align the sight then finish tightening the bolt. DO NOT over tighten! The Loctite on the sight will do a fine job of holding everything in place, the screw just needs to keep everything in place while the Loctite cures and moderate screw tension will keep the sight in place for years. My Factory rear sight was pretty easy to remove with a brass punch/hammer and the slide mounted in a bench vise. USE SOFT JAWS or wood or several layers of hard cardboard taped to the vise jaws in your vise if the jaws are serrated or you will get marks on the sides of you slide while tapping the new rear sight in. Check for fit. If the rear sight goes in almost half way with moderate tapping with a punch you should be able to install the rear sight. If it stops way before getting near halfway in STOP and remove the sight for fitting. Using a small triangle file gently take a few swipes on the sight dovetail on each side and recheck the fit. Repeat until the sight fit is proper. On final installation of the rear sight put a small drop of Loctite it the dovetail on the slide. Using a punch carefully tap the sight into place centering it as best as you can. I used a depth micrometer to center mine but you could also use a dial or digital caliper to check from each side of the slide and get the sight centered as best as you can. The set screw only needs the smallest amount of Loctite on it to hold it and for Heavens sake DO NOT over tighten it! The included Allen wrench with my kit was a slightly sloppy fit in the set screw. This could make the wrench and or set screw easy to damage if you over tighten it making it impossible to get apart later if needed. Remember, the fit in the dovetail is what is supposed to keep the sight in place, not necessarily the tension on the set screw. It is best to let the gun sit for several before hours shooting to let the Loctite cure properly. In the end, I am very happy with this set of sights on my Glock 26! After centering the rear sight on my slide it needed no further adjustments for my shooting. As a side note I left my slide on my bedroom night stand the day I installed the sights so the Loctite could cure someplace warm instead of my cold garage. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Tritium vials glowing in the dark when I turned in to bed that night! Not super bright (which is really not good) but plenty bright enough for night time social use! Thanks for taking the time to read through my lengthy post and I hope this helps someone with their decision to purchase or the installation of these sights! Enjoy...

Terrific Sight Set for my Glock 30 - I love these sights!
I bought this TRUGLO TFO Sight Set for my Gen 3 Glock 30 .45acp. The factory sights were just 2 White Dot rear, and White Dot front sights, that are near impossible to see in low light or darkness. Since this G30 is my daily Concealed Carry weapon, I want to actually be able to see the gun and sights if I need to use it in night situations. The factory front sight was pretty easy to remove, but the rear sight required a sight push tool to remove it. I bought a tool from Sylvan arms, here at Amazon, and removal was amazingly simple. When I removed the front sight, I added a small drop of oil to keep the area under the screw free from corrosion. Then just lined up the sight with the hole and tapped it with a small wrench to seat it in place. Getting the new (included) screw in, was difficult because of the size. It is a tiny screw, so just used a pair of needle nose pliers and a lighted magnifier to line it up and get it started in the threads. I used my tool to tighten the front sight, and it fits perfectly. TRUGLO says not to use a sight push tool to install the rear sight but how else can you install it. It is extremely tight in the dovetail. I used the Sylvan sight pusher and just took my time, while making sure that I didn't turn the pusher too fast. I will say, that if you take your time and make sure that your sight pusher lines up at the base of the sight in the dovetail, that you will have no issues. I guess that TRUGLO wants to make sure that you don't crack the Fiber Optic section of the sight. Again, just make sure that your pusher contacts the sight at the lowest point in the dovetail. You will be just fine. The Fiber Optic is very bright and the Tritium glows brightly, even in total darkness. This sight set is AMAZING!! It is a little on the expensive side, but I wanted both FO and Tritium in my sights. I got the set with the yellow rear and green front. I wanted to be able to distinguish both the front and rear sight easily. That's why I didn't want the all green set. If you purchase this sight set, I think that you will be Totally Satisfied, as I am, with the quality and brightness. Tomorrow, I go to the shooting range to sight in the pistol and I expect to enjoy shooting with the new sights and to have no issues.

Glock easy to install.very bright sights.great quality
Bright fiber optic sights are complemented with the Tritium glow cells under the fiber optic rods. Very bright day or night. The sights get brighter in daylight due to the fiber optic design.....light is gathered better and display very nicely. The sights were not too difficult to install. I don't have a sighht press so with gentle solid tapping the rear sight into place with a rubber mallet and hardwood and in it went, slowly but surely. (be sure to disassemble down to the gun slide only and brace the slide in a padded vise) The front sight I had to remove the very small hex screw under the front sight with, not recommended but it worked, a pair of good and medium to small sized needle nosed pliers. It will slightly scar the hex screw but being careful it was removed and reinstalled along with a drop of Shoe-Goo adhesive on the threads and along the sights base but remove any excess quickly with a toothpic and a piece of gun cleaning patch ot sliver of a tee shirt., I had no Loctite or any superglue. Shoe-Goo works for many many things and as good as duct tape when doing odd jobs..LOL NOTE: if using needle nose pliers, be very careful not to pinch your fingers...it hurts if they slip. I know it is recommended to use a gunsmith for sight installations but I'm a do it yourselfer type. Anyways, I also coated the rear sights dovetail with light gun oil to help it along as it wouldn't go in after the first couple millimeters and excessive hard tapping can damage the sight. I also so very slightly removed a very minimal amount of the dovetail on the rear sight itself and I mean very minimal just enough so the dovetail would seat deeper in the first few millimeters allowing for a sturdy solid tap without the fear of it slipping in the wrong direction. This is not my first Glock install, my other Glock sights look great and the sights stay intact. As mentioned earlier, be sure to thread loc the front sight with some Loctite or a drop of superglue or even a dab of Shoe-Goo spread fine with a toothpic and install the small screw into the sight base pretty quick before any of the compounds begin to set up. I highly recommend the TFO sights for all. Now a Crimson Trace or LaserMax laser sight to complete this Glock 26 and my work is done.

Very Bright, isn't that the point?
Purchased this Truglo Glock Low TFO sight in green (front and rear) and was very impressed by how bright these show not only in low light conditions (they are night sights after all) but also in daylight. My one caveat to folks thinking about purchasing these for their Glock would be to make sure if you do holster your Glock to make sure that there is some clearance to allow for these sights not to snag on. They are a bit larger than the stock glock sight and the front post in particular snags on my current holster to the point where I'm concerned prolonged use will damage the front post. My fix will be to purchase a kydex type holster with a slot to allow for sight clearance (easily available thru Crossbreed or other reputable brand I'm sure). Decided to install these myself on my favorite G19 and it was an absolute breeze once I got the appropriate tools (file, brass hammer, nylon punch, rear sight pusher, loctite). If I had to do it over again I'd only purchase a file (to remove excess material from the rear dovetail as it was extremely tight on my G19), and a brass hammer and nylon punch (Brownells) to avoid marring the rear sight and loctite. I absolutely love Glocks so I figured it was worth the investment to actually buy the tools instead of paying my local gunsmith $50 bucks to install them as I plan to replace sights on collection as I see fit in the future. Be gentle when tapping on the rear sight as you want to avoid breaking the fluorescent tubes (defeats the whole purpose) and take your time. It took me three weeks because I was a complete noob and ordered the appropriate tools piece meal as I figured out through online research but am very satisfied now that my G19 has been reborn (much improved over stock glock sight). If you're concerned about a "bad guy" being able to see the fiber optic tubes in the front and rear based on the slots on top you need not worry. The fiber optics only glow from the rear dots and are not visible if exposed in darkness (only the three dots visible to you will be as you hold your weapon). These sights are very nice and unless I'm carrying concealed I would highly recommend these (again if you get a holster that has a sight groove to prevent snagging you're good to go). Excellent as an integral part of a home defense gun, I would recommend these to friends and would buy another set, they're incredibly bright!

TFO works great
I installed these sights on a Glock 19. I own a vice so I opted to install myself rather than hire a gunsmith. I did not purchase any special sight press or sight install tools. I duct-taped a couple pieces of wood to the insides of my vice teeth to avoid marks on the slide. For front sight removal I took a crescent wrench to the top sight to loosen then just walked the threads out the rest of the way by hand. For the TFO front sight installation I followed the included instructions to get the screw started into the sight as far as I could get it. I had purple loctite on hand so I used a little of that on the screw threads. Next I used my press to finish pushing the sight into the top of the slide. Next I worked the screw as far as I could by hand. To finish I got my flat ended small hand pliers to tighten the screw the rest of the way. I used a rubber mallet to tap the existing rear sight out. After verifying the hex head screw was loose I used the rubber mallet to push the new sight in. WARNING: It would be easy to leave marks on the side of your rear sight if you use a tool like a punch to hammer into the sight. Just stick to a rubber mallet you should be OK. The fit was a bit tight so I took a fine grade file to either side of the sight guide - on the sight itself, not the gun. After that it hammered right in. Finally I tightened the allen screw. My only gripe is either my screw or my allen wrench came stripped out, I had to use one of my own allen wrenches to tighten the screw. I am very impressed with the metal frame surrounding the tritium/fiber optic elements. This appears to be very well built and withstood my press and mallet abuse. I am amazed at how well these light up in a completely dark room. The daytime glowing affects are impressive as well. Work great at both the indoor and outdoor shooting range. I have no doubt these will save me a split second if I am ever unlucky enough to have to use them.

Great Sights, Apparently Designed to be Installed by a Gunsmith
These are the brightest sights of any I've found. They work great from low light to sunlight. Of course they are not as bright at night but you can see them. I was not happy with the install process. The enclosed information recommends that you have these installed by a gunsmith. And there are no instructions included. However, I've installed several sets of sights and it is a pretty simple process if you have the front sight tool. And a sight pusher helps, but not required. The rear sight installed easily, I used a sight pusher. But the front sight was very loose when I installed it. A 0.010" screw was screwed into the front sight. And there was another 0.0080" screw included that indicated for Gen 4 Glocks had a screw. My Glock 17 is a Gen 3 so I used the 0.010" screw which was screwed into the front sight. It was very loose so I contacted Truglo Support. Truglo's response was as follows: 1. The sights should be installed by a licensed gunsmith. 2. You should use a front sight tool, which I did. 3. Install using the 0.010" screw first. This was screwed into the sight and the one I used. 4. If there is any play in the sight, use the 0.008" screw. This is the short screw that indicates it is for Gen 4 which mine was not. 5. Use blue Loctite on the front sight screw threads and red Loctite on the boss or stud of the front sight that fits into the slide. (I would never consider using red Loctite to glue the front sight to the slide! This would make it difficult to remove the sight and maybe destroy it.) 6. For Gen 4 use blue Loctite on the front sight threads and green Loctite on the boss or stud of the front sight? I removed the sight and reinstalled it with the short 0.008" screw and added blue Loctite to the threads. The sight seems to be secure now. I will fire my G 17 soon. If it loosens up I will return the sights to Amazon.

Very quality sights and I recommend them!
Finally had a chance to install these sights on a Glock 19. They appear to be very bright in both daylight and low light conditions. Today was my first trip to the range since installing them, but I was impressed! I have always liked the 3 dot style of sight better the the factory Glock sights. After a while, however, I became a decent shot with the standard Glock sights. I really only bought these because I had bought a set for my wife's Glock 43, and have really enjoyed them. My experience the 2nd time was no different. I feel like my target acquisition was very fast, and lining the dots up seemed to be quicker for my eyes/brain. It feels more natural for me to connect the dots! I also feel like my accuracy was still there, and will only continue to get better the more I shoot with these. So my accuracy did not suffer, will only get better, target acquisition felt faster, and I gained a ton of visibilty... I will take that! They feel very stout and I am not worried about them breaking or coming loose. Installation was on par with installing any sight on a Glock, as long as you know what you are doing you will have no problems. I did not need to align or adjust them after installation, the bullets went where my sights were aiming. Very quality sights and I recommend them!

Dead in just 2 years.
These sights are awesome when they where new, bright as hell day or night and all that. But i purchased mine in September of 2018 and i noticed September of this year the front sight is dead, and their 12 year warranty is meaningless. Not a good brand.

Tru Glo for Glock 17
The Truglo Glock Low TFO Handgun sights are very nice. They fit the Glock 17 perfectly and even included the required screw for my Gen 4. Good sighting response with these mounted on my gun and they are everything that they claim to be. As these are the low model the gun still works perfectly with my BlackHawk holster. Good price and quick delivery.
