Dorman 800-135 Fuel Line Compression Unions That Adapts Nylon To Steel Tubes, 3 Pack Universal Fit

As advertised fit great.

I used these to connect my new nylon fuel lines to the metal lines coming from the engine. They worked great with no need to heat the nylon lines. I did have to remove one of these connections and although it was easy to un-connect, I had to buy a new union connection as the nylon bushing was deformed and not reusable and the steel bushing was stuck on the steel fuel line (had to cut it off).

These fittings saved the day as well as time and money. I would have usually just bought two different fittings and Frankenstein-steined one together that would work, but I ran across these and they were exactly what I needed. Save your money and the hassle of looking for something else, these are your best bet.

The description doesn't mention that this has a 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 fitting in the package. I had to rearrange my setup since I wanted 4 5/16 fittings.

Worked well for going from 5/16 stainless straight pipe to 5/16 nylon straight pipe. No leaks, if you have never tried a compression fitting repair before don't be intimidated. Make sure you use a pipe cutter with a wheel and lightly sand the face of the cut with automotive sand paper (stainless line). This kit included a 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 fitting.

I am annoyed that I am now returning this item because it came up in my search for 3/8 unions but I somehow missed that it only comes with a single 3/8 union and not three. It comes with three unions, but they are variously sized.

Totally an easier way to fix fuel lines. I could not believe how well these worked. I was also able to save money by not having to buy factory replacement lines.
