A decent value in a reasonable quantity for small offices
When a 9"x12" manila envelope isn't quite big enough to hold a thick stack of documents, and you don't want to waste a Priority Mail envelope for something not being shipped via Priority Mail, these 10"x13" manila envelopes give just a smidge more room, without drowning one's documents in a huge 12"x15" envelope. This size isn't as common as the 9"x12" envelopes, and our usual vendor only had this size as custom-printed envelopes, with a much larger minimum-quantity requirement than what our office needed for occasional use.

Very nice envelopes. I am happy with this product and I plan to buy more very soon. I am always filing paperwork and creating extra work for myself so I decided to buy bulk and get these envelopes. Seller did a great job, the item was listed and all facts and details were very clear. I was sure I had the right size envelopes... and when they arrived I was very happy. I recommend this seller. My shipment arrived on time, ( I am Amazon Prime member) 2-day shipping. Very satisfied customer.

Thinner paper than other products
I had been using Quality Park envelopes until their price went up. The Columbian Clasp looked OK, but when they arrived, they were clearly a lower weight paper than Quality Park. On the plus side, the Quality Park flaps never stuck after being moistened. The Columbian Clasp flaps stay sealed. If you are only using the envelopes for sending a few sheets of paper, they should be OK, but if you are putting in something that could pierce the paper with rougher handling, these are not the right thing.

"BEWARE DO NOT BUY"
"BE ADVISED"These envelopes are NOT Columbian brand envelopes, as stated in the description. They are very poor quality, made of VERY THIN paper, and not suitable for mailing. Please, DO NOT waist your money as I did.The seller does offer refunds but buyer is responsible for return shipping cost, which makes it not worth returning them.Once you make a purchase from this seller, they have you over a barrel, concerning returns and THEY KNOW THAT.They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people.DO NOT BUY.

I purchase these at least once a week
I purchase these envelopes probably about once a week from the Columbian Envelopes seller. The envelopes are good for what I need and they are not as thin as some of the cheaper quality envelopes out there that I've gotten in the past. They do not have a clasp and are not self sealing. You will have to lick them or wet them to seal the envelopes...they do not have a self sealing adhesive that you just peel and stick just to be clear. The envelopes I have received have never been missing glue, but they have come bent in the package once which caused me to lose maybe ten out of the 500 that were shipped. This was probably just a mistake and I have not seen it since. I would suggest getting these envelopes for anyone that regularly having to ship items of this nature. Good quality and the best bulk price on amazon that i've found.

Good product, will buy again.
After comparing quality and cost of catalog envelopes, I decided on this one despite a review that there was no glue (I was going to use tape as a back-up anyway). I found that these envelopes had sufficient glue and held tight even without back-up tape -- I send items around the country (even used books that I resell on Amazon) and it can withstand media mail (which can take up to 14 days in the mail) with no problems whatsoever. Needless to say I'm saving my tape and very happy with this product.

Strong. I will buy again.
They are strong. When you go to seal them, use a wet sponge or washcloth, wait a few seconds and then seal. I don't like that the gum doesn't go all the way over to the ends. But, I think what helps the most with this product is knowing that you should wait for a few seconds before sealing and you will get a better seal than if you wet and just do it right away. Otherwise, I like this product and I will buy again.

Not 32lb envelopes! Double check the box.
Buyer beware. There was nothing inherently wrong with these envelopes. BUT they were NOT 32lb paper. The box was actually labeled 28lb, but there was a second label that covered the paper weight. That might ordinarily be overlooked, but you could tell by the feel that this was not heavy-duty paper as advertised. Looking carefully through the extra label, you could make out that the box was originally labeled 28lb envelopes. This could have been an “honest” error, but it felt little me an intentional bait-and-switch. I sent them back.
