Oh my gosh, finally sweet relief from this horrifically itchy and uncomfortable poison ivy rash! Just buy this to keep it on hand! I've been using all the OTC creams and ointments I can find plus calamine lotion. Calamine lotion had been the only thing to actually help and how I've been able to sleep. I also take 2 different daily antihistamines (one prescription, one OTC) because I'm allergic to everything so this poison ivy rash is something else. The soap is a little difficult to lather and I wouldn't say it actually lathers, it's not a bubbly soap, but it looks like lotion when lathered. I felt immediate relief just lathering this on the poison ivy rash. My arm has been uncomfortable for almost a week now so this relief was euphoric. I left the soap on the rash for about 5 minutes (directions say 2-3 but I lost track of time) and then rinsed it off with cool water. I was afraid it would just flare up and itch again as soon as I rinsed it but it didn't!!!!! It's been about 20 minutes now, I've put nothing else in the rash, and I'm just now starting to feel a couple of the blisters tingle/itch but nowhere near as severely as before. There is barely any scent, maybe a slight plain soap scent. No stinging or pain when on the rash. This is a huge win. I highly recommend this for poison ivy rashes for temporary relief. I plan on using this several more times today. The ingredients are healing ingredients too so that's a bonus. This would be fantastic for kids since it seems so gentle and really does work immediately.

This soap was a life saver. I suffer from poison ivy at least once a year no matter how careful I am. My reaction was painfully itchy this year but this soap helped tremendously. BUT, I left the soap on for 7 hours and didn't feel any itching. I then washed it off and put more on. GL!

I'm not sure if this soap actually helped my poison ivy as it has been several weeks and I still have it. However, I'm not the raging itchy mess as I have been in the past from limited exposure. The rash has seemed to dry it up quicker than any other product I've used in the past. The bar is gentle on my skin, has a pleasant scent, and did not cause this hyper-allergic sensitive-skinned person any additional irritations. I will keep using it.

It works well as soap, but did not prevent poison ivy breakout on its own. Need instructions to point out need for scrubbing. The poison ivy oil acts like any other grease or oil on the skin, and must be scrubbed with a wash cloth after applying soap to remove the oil. If you treat the poison ivy oil like invisible grease all over the possibly exposed area and lather well and then scrub down the entire area, it can work.

I am high allergic to poison ivy and using the cream after being exposed is a game changer. After applying leave on for 5 minutes before showering works better. It is a little more expensive but worth it.

We have used all kinds of poison ivy remedies as our yard is full of it. I hadn't realized that we were out of poison ivy soap until we were a good couple days into having gotten into some. I ordered this because the natural ingredients and I have to say that using this in place of the regular stuff was amazing. My husband was covered with a rash and after two days of using just cortisone (we always use cortisone along with the poison ivy soap), it wasn't getting any better. First wash with this soap and you could actually see the difference. It went from a deep angry red to just red on the first day and now on the second, it is down to a very light red. Next I am going to test it in our laundry to see if it takes care of any residue that is probably on the clothes we wore outside and to see if it will actually work on clothes without causing any problems with them. I will come back and post the results after I have done that since there is nothing on the market for getting rid of poison ivy on your clothes.
