Don Pepino Pizza Sauce, 28 Ounce (Pack of 12)

Sauce is so good. Was worried it would be too sweet or too acidic but is just right. Thin enough to spread evenly. Good as a zaa style dip for breadsticks or finger foods as well. Worth the price in my opinion.

The title says it all. This is as good as it gets at home -- and is often better than restaurant quality. The texture and flavor are perfect, and finally a pizza sauce that doesn't add any sugar. This is exactly what pizza sauce should taste like!

I have tried dozens of pizza sauces, and none compare to the taste and quality of this product. This is, in my opinion, the best pizza sauce I have ever had.

My family and friends have been buying this pizza sauce for over 50 years. Having spent most of my life in New Jersey it was readily accessible at most grocery stores. It’s amazing how the taste has not changed at all. I can’t think of any other product you could say this about. We now live in North Carolina, and there is no pizzeria anywhere that has better sauce than this. this is our go to sauce whenever we make homemade pizza in our pizza oven. Unfortunately it is not available by the can anywhere in this area. We do buy a case at a time and the price is pretty reasonable. There is no better sauce on the market period!!

Very easy to use, open the can and pour. Taste better than most, is thick and in a convient size.

Is there a difference between Don Pepino Pizza Sauce when compared to other brands? Ahhhhh yes there is! Start with opening the can. Do you see the thickness and the beautiful red of the sauce? Oh! And did you catch that initial scent when the lid opened? It’s so good! Yes, this sauce is THAT good!

Sooo good! Very bright tasting! This is the second case that I have purchased. Fantastic base sauce! You can add anything to it you want it is delicious, basic, and customizable. Perfect for pizza ond as a dipping sauce for crust or bread. Great to dip any vegetable that is breaded as well!

This is our favorite store bought pizza sauce. It’s not too thick or too thin, and has great flavor. We had been making our own but haven’t felt like it lately. Pizza night is a big deal in our house and we usually make 6-8 pies, and having this sauce on hand makes it a lot easier! We now have a case on Subscribe and Save.

As an American living in the UK, this is the only thing from the US that I import on a regular basis. The best pizza sauce. Forgetaboutit!

Expensive but a great pizza sauce which takes homemade pizzas to the next level. Also use this in chillis and pasta dishes and tastes awesome.

Great flavour and good value

These are pretty good and convenient, but it is priced too high. If you are paying more than £2 per can for this I think you would be better making your own sauce with a good San Marzano tomato, a little garlic oil and seasoning it yourself.
